As everyone have suggested chuck e cheese, BounceU, Incredible pizza are good.
But as said earlier there's no point in spending so much at a b'day party where ur kid can hardly enjoy!
Let him grow a little more for hosting such fun parties as your kid can take part too.
My girl too is turning 2 this thursday. I dropped dead checking for party halls, restaurants, play areas, picnic spots...but finally I found out that at most of places its fun for big kids. Not your two year old.
So u can have a party at home (thatz what am doing now!) with theme he likes. Like i am having a Finding Nemo b'day party :)) Your boy may feel more comfortable at your home or his grandparents home.
Next year you can have his b'day at Chuck e cheese or even Incredible pizza and places like that.
Just a suggestion. You are the one to decide!
Gud luck though!

At his age, all he wants to do is play, so why not go to burger king or some other indoor play area and have a great air conditioned party. In October, it may still be hot outside, it will be easy to clean up, and the kids can play all they want.

Chuckie Cheese, but it is VERY expensive. My husband's brother had his youngest daughter's party there last month and it cost $183 and there was not enough pizza for everyone and the cake was so small that not everyone got a piece. They had Chuckie Cheese provide the cake. If you decide to go that route I would either buy a bigger cake or make one. Not all Mc Donald's have parties anymore. The one I work at doesn't, but until a few months ago we used to sell the cakes.

We called our local parks division and rented the pavillion at the park $50 for 5 hours and the deposit was refunded after the party... It was nice to not have to worry about parking, tables, trash cans and the children has the park to play in- we just brought the food, cake and presents.. It was inexpensive and really, really nice.... good luck

You don't say where in the world you live, but if the weather is pleasant in October, consider having the party at a local park.

If it a nice day have it at a park. If it is nasty have it at an indoor play area. Just choose one that you know is clean and safe. Have it where your child can have the most fun. Or just have it at your house. Just because you don't want it at your house doesn't mean it isn't ideal for you 2 yr old. It is where he is safest and feels secure.
