You should NOT be taking any sort of diet pill while breastfeeding. Either stop taking them, or wean your baby. Everything you put into your body goes into your breastmilk, even if only a little. Your child is old enough for milk now if you would like to wean. If not, put the pills away for now.

Did you not read the part on the bottle that said to not take if breastfeeding or pregnant? Like all the other answers have said, STOP! You should call your baby's doctor and ask if you did your baby any harm by taking the diet pills and breastfeeding.

A nursing mom needs 300-500 extra calories while breastfeeding. You cannot take diet pills while doing this. If you are not breastfeeding full-time (Which at age 1 you shouldn't because they need to be on table food by now) you will not burn as many calories, but it is not good for your baby.

According to the people who MAKE Alli, you should NOT take Alli while pregnant or breastfeeding. Check out everything at www.myalli.com - that is their official website.

YES, stop!

It is not safe to take diet pills while you are nursing your baby. The medication passes through your breastmilk to your child.

Obviously. I would never take any meidcation without clearing it with the doc. Since your baby is a year old, thats th eperfec ttime to wean, if the pills are important to you.

Absolutely you should stop taking them, the alli in your breast milk will have the same effect on your baby as it has on you, he/she will not be getting the fat content that they need. Not at all healthy for the child
