Our baby is going to be here in 2 weeks and she still doesn't have a name. My son really wants to name her Emily, but my cousin just named his baby that. My husband wants the middle name to be Ava. This is what I've come up with. My husband isn't sure he likes it yet though

Emma Leigh Ava

What do you think? Please don't be rude

Okay I always expected if I had a girl to name her Emma. My husband really wants the middle name to be Ava (which I really don't like). My son really wants to name her Emily. This is the best alternative I've found so far. Also, when she's older she can go by Emmaleigh, Emma, or Leigh.

Ava is not an option in my opinion as a first name.

I can't just name her Emily, my cousin just named his baby girl that.

i think it should be emmaleigh ava
that way everyone would agree on it
for you it would still be emma leigh
for your hubby it would still be ava
and for your son it would be emily (actually spelled emmaleigh)
you cant fail no matter how you look at it

That is nice, but does that mean she will have 4 names total: first name, 2 middle names and a last name? That might be a lot, but it is up to you. I actually think Ava Emily or Ava Emilia is nice. I know you said Ava for the middle name, but actually, it is a cute and unique first name. You can also do Ava Leigh. That is really pretty. As you can see though, I really like the idea of Ava as the first name. Maybe you did not even think of it and you like the idea too? I hope you do. If not, good luck. Just keep trying, go online, read stuff and use your imagination to put stuff together. Good luck and congrats.

I like it but Emma and Ava are 2 of the most popular names in the country right now. My daughters name is Ava and when we named her that it wasn't even in the top 250 of most popular names, now it's #5 and I know Emma is in the top 5 also. If having a really popular name doesn't bother you then go for it, I like how you have it so it looks like emily but isn't. good luck

Would Leigh and Ava both be middle names? I think it would be better if you just chose one unless both have a strong significance to you. Also, Emma is a very common name and also might not work so well for her once she's older. (A 40 yr old named Emma?) Just a thought. I like Leigh Ava...

I like the idea of Emma Leigh. Ava is a really nice name but if you wanna go for Emma Leigh then i dont think you should go with ava because it doesnt make a clear name But you should pick out a name Of your own then put it together for example my neices parents name are mother:leena father ray
So they put it together (From leena take away the last a and from ray take away the r) the thay got leenay but the prounouce it like like lay.-nay.

♥ I dont think Emma Leigh Ava flows. I love Emma Leigh however! Emma Ava or Emma Leigh Ava just doesnt go together. Maybe try to talk your hubby into something else?

I think that all of the names are really lovely on their own, but together they don't really flow that well. What about Amelie Ava Leigh? That flows really well and Amelie is very similar to Emma. Good luck and God bless

Not being rude but with this name you might as well go ahead and name her emily ava. it;s a little easier to say, or just change the first name all together.

Well it is cute but sounds like a mouth full. If you were set on Emily. Why not try Emerald call her Emmy for short. or Aemilia it is another name for Emily.
My suggestion is just one middle name, but that is just me.
Good Luck, try out this site it has alot of different names
