me and my partner run a cafe and he wants me to let a girl in the village babysit while i help out on bank holiday monday. I would express milk for my baby, my partner thinks im being stuped. am I being paranoid or do you think its worth giving her a chance? apparently she has looked after a 3yr old before.

I've induced previous labors with castor oil successfully.
How do the contractions feel after being induced with castor oil vs. pitocin, etc.?
Does one cause contractions to be harder than the other?

I actually like this little boy, but I want the one day off that he comes. I would consider keeping him inspite of having him that day I want off, expect he is causing me some stress as he has only been here for 3 days and he has hit and sworn, and lied to me. He is not defient, but he does not seem to understand what he does wrong. He is in trouble almost contantly. His mother just says 'good luck' and drops him off and doesn't get him in trouble when he acts up here. I could get him to behave if I stuck with it as he is not defient, but he comes twice a week and I want that one day off. Plus it is causing me stress and I dont' want stress right now about things as I have alot on my plate. So today I am going to tell her that September is a no go because he swore today and lied and is still hitting or something. The main thing is that I REALLY want that one day off.

I have worked with kids for 36 years and have never had this problem- I'm at a total loss. I am the nanny for a very difficult 5 yr old- he still wears pull-ups for bed and frequently wets at naptime. He doesn't just wet the diaper or pants- I sometimes have to wash his complete bedding twice a day! I think he does this after waking up rather than going into the bathroom. Today- again- he pooped in his pants! A terrible mess. A year ago, he was doing this and then spreading it all over his rugs! PLEASE give some suggestions- not so much as to how to stop it, but what discipline after the fact. I have made him sleep in the living room near me when it has happened before and this has worked. Any other suggestions?????? Thanks

Labor/delivery with 1st was pretty hard, 2nd I handled better but was 3 hours longer, 3rd was the shortest, but most painful b//c my water broke 6 hours into Labor-although my third lliterally flew out in 8 minutes!
With the next one, could it be even shorter? Are chances good that the next will be delivered as quickly?
What are your experiences with each of your labors/deliveries?

I from my last period should not ovulate till thursday but this past weekend I started to get the ovulation discharge. Yesterday, monday, I had some cramping on the right side and lots of discharge. And now today I had lots of cramping on the left side and some all over and feels like my period cramping going into my back. And lots of discharge again. Ever before I was guessing when I ovulated but this time I really can tell not missing it. Who experienced this and what could it be? Could it be ovulating more than one egg? Also, when you have the cramping and discharge are you ovulating that day or later?

I may be wrong to say this and everyone still has their final say as to weither they do but why are kids these days in such a hurry to destroy their lives. These kids are fearless and they think nothing can happen to them if they have sex. Well one maybe two of three things can happen. 1. You get lucky and don't get pregnant. 2. You get pregnant and now have the possiblility of destroying three lives from being to young and naive. 3. You get a lovely STD from someone that will never go away and then you have the chance of giving that to someone for the rest of you life.

PLEASE KIDS THINK ABOUT YOUR DECISIONS!!! That is all I ask. There is nothing wrong with waiting till you are at an age where you are responcible and have a life that is already functioning by itself.

This is my first pregnancy, I am 21 at a height of 5’4 and weigh almost 200 pounds. I’m 12 weeks and 1 day as of today. As you can tell I’m not skinny and I have a stomach on me (not huge just not flat) I’m not VERY over weight but could defiantly loss some pounds and some of it is mussel. This is actually a question about how we as society deny realism. I am not having a baby, I'm a single guy, so here is my thesis.

In my humble opinion, the "differences" which lead couple #1 to adopt the scarce baby (who we will call exhibit--A) when couple #1, couple #2 and couple #3 all were seeking the scarce resource.

I am basically clueing in the world that "economics" is the invisible force which enforces glass-ceilings, which enforces racism, and enforces "investor stupidity"--I'm a finance guru--would love to write 30 pages on this subject, and I defecate and vomit every time that I hear of people not realizing that stocks are only a better investment than safer assets, based on nominal data.

The truth is that, yes, overall if you have $100 you can invest in stocks or bonds or real-estate or REIT's or FOREX or other 4-letter words. Please share your thoughts logically?!

My baby is 8 weeks old tomorrow. He was very regular, had 4-6 bm per day. After a few weeks, I'd say once he was about 5 weeks old, he started having just 2 bm a day. Then for about 2 or 3 days he had just 1 explosion per day. Now he hasn't had a bm for 3 days. What could be wrong? He is breastfed only, no formula. We have a doctor appointment on Friday, and my husband is 100% against enemas.

some of you are going to think I am absolutely ridiculous and that may be the case. let me give you the low down real quick and I would love some feed back. I am 20, I am from Nashville, TN. I live in San Fran going to beauty school until December. My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. I have been going through these really weird moods of wanting to have a kid.
