I from my last period should not ovulate till thursday but this past weekend I started to get the ovulation discharge. Yesterday, monday, I had some cramping on the right side and lots of discharge. And now today I had lots of cramping on the left side and some all over and feels like my period cramping going into my back. And lots of discharge again. Ever before I was guessing when I ovulated but this time I really can tell not missing it. Who experienced this and what could it be? Could it be ovulating more than one egg? Also, when you have the cramping and discharge are you ovulating that day or later?
~Thanks alot for your help~

You ovulated two eggs in one month, one from each ovary, not unusual. You need to be careful or use birth control, residual sperm can stay in your uterus or tubes and impregnate you the day you ovulate and up to 24-36 hours afterward. Rather like a train waiting already at the station for the passenger (egg). Best way to not get pregnant is to be careful 4 or 5 days before and at least 3 after. If you ARE trying to get pregnant, well.. reverse the opposite of what I said, and go for it!

You get fertile cervical mucus days before you ovulate. When it goes away, it usually means you ovulated the day before. You cn feel discomfort on both sides and yet ovulate from just one ovary. Every month both ovaries mature multiple eggs in the follicles, and then just one ovary releases just one egg. Sometimes you can release more than one egg..

The same thing happened to me last month and i thought my ovulation time was out of whack. My period actually ended up being late and my doctor told me that sometimes you won't always ovulate at the same time every month and you should just listen to you body....

Sounds like you are heading that way but not there yet. Cervical mucus for peak ovulation will resemble an eggwhite.
