It really depends on the person. Weight does not change it really. With first pregnancies you don't show right off usually because your muscles are still tighter and hold everything in more securely for longer. Some tiny people don't show until 5 or 6 months but then again some show at 2 months. I am not a light weight and i am 33wk, will be 34 wks on thursday and side view of me you can definately tell i am pregnant, but if i wear loose clothes from the front people are amazed that i am 33 wks pregnant.

It will vary for each mother and from one pregnancy to the next same as for skinny people. I was 5'5" and weighed 190 when I got pregnant with #2 but was showing by 15 weeks a LOT. But then with #3 I was 136 pounds when I got pregnant and now at about 25 weeks, people still arent sure just by looking unless I wear certain clothes.

Not very overweight? Me and you are alot of alike. I am 22 and weigh 195 and height at 5'3. We are concidered obese. I know it's hard to think that way but have to face it we are. I have been pregnant 4 times. Which I got my weight from pregnancies. But when big and pregnant it's not that fun. You don't show has much and depending on how big you look which in your case it sounds not that big. You will probally not show till after 5 months like I did. I know a big women that you couldn't tell she was pregnant at all because of her weight. Well, I wish you the best and be careful I put on alot of weight because of being over weight to begin with. Also, if you want to talk at all IM me! Good luck!

I spent a whole summer with a woman who had 2 kids and I never knew she was pregnant until I met her in Sept, and she had had a 3rd baby, she was also big and wore the same clothes lile mumus so I never knew. This would be a good opportunity for you to take off some wt,not a diet, just not gain more than say 10 lbs. My mom gained 5 lbs when she had me and I'm in my 60's now,and had 3 healthy babies but I wish I had watched my wt because I gained so much and never lost much before I was pregnant again and then did not lose that wt and did it again with my 3rd,and the wt just never came off,and I've been fighting it all these yrs.

I am 5'7" and I was 195 lbs when i got pregnant with my 1st son. I started really showing, like I couldn't hide the pregnancy around 20 wks. Before that I just looked like i was getting fatter. I did notice though myself way before that it just seemed like nobody else noticed. With my second son I started at 224 (still hadn't lost all the weight from the first) and I really didn't show until about 23 wks when i went in for an ultrasound and the tech asked how far along I was and I said "guess" and he said "12 wks". By the time I was about 26 wks though with both boys I was very noticibly pregnant and you could even see baby feet and hands moving under my skin, it was just scary for some people lol like a little alien living in there.

Depending on how you carry your weight (evenly all over or mostly in your stomach). If you weight is evenly then I would guess maybe 3 to 4 months. I have a sister inlaw who is really over weight (my guess is 250 & up ), and we never could tell she was pregnant at all. She did look like she had put on a little more weight in her stomach area at 8 to 9 months, but if you didn't know her you would have never known she was pregnant. Good Luck...... P.S. I read that if you are over weight some then you should only gain about 15 pounds for a one baby birth,,,but talk to your doctor....

Most ladies don't show until around 18 weeks or so with their first. I would expect you to show sometime after that, maybe 24 weeks? This is all assuming your kiddo isn't tiny. I had a good friend who looked preggo from day 1 (was her first) but that was just the shape of her belly. Baby came out full term weighing 5lbs!

I have always been heavyset. My first one I started showing around 20 weeks, the second one around 16 or so, the last one I didn't really show until I was around 25 weeks. And this one I started showing around 14 weeks. This one must be a big one lol. Best wishes!
