I'm stuck between these 2 names - which one do you think is best - 8 weeks to go so help me out!

Evan definately. I have an Evan of my own. Depends how original you want to be, how many you already know. Only you can decide, dont be bullied, every1 told me Evan was an awful name when I was pregnant with him!

Both REALLY cute! Jamie is more of an older name that was popular && now isnt so much && Evan is more today. So if you are looking for a name not heard very often these days definitely go with Jamie...if not then Evan all the way!

May be this bit of info will help: I work as a dinner lady at a small school (around 180 kids) and we have had quite a high number of James and Jamies constantly for the last 7 years. So far we haven't had any Evans.

Definitely Jamie. I'm a teacher and I've taught several Jamies and an Evan. Once you've taught a kid with a certain name, the name is tainted with that kid's personality for a LONG time... I'd go with Jamie every time! All the best with the new baby! :)

Jamie Evan would be good or if you want another baby down the line use Jamie now and Evan for later!!!!

Definately Jamie, i love it. Plus it is one of those names perfect for all ages, and can be shortened to jay when he is older if he wanted. You could always use both, Jamie Evan sounds lovely. Good luck with the baby, I also have 8 weeks left.

Evan.I think of Jamie as a girls name. I have a girl cousin named Jamie.Also, Evan is really cute and I can see it in a young child.
