I'm currentally 8weeks 2 days pregnant with number 2 and I'm not wanting to have a baby shower but my husband wants me to....our situation is his job travels and we use our own car and pack everything that we need into it...I'm affrad that people will give me things that I will not be able to carry and use expecially since we are going to Hawaii for 8 months at the end of this month and the baby will be born there. I was thinking that if people wanted to give me anything to just ask for a gift certificate and i could buy the things that i know we would be able to carry with us. Do you think that its rude just to ask for money or is it best just to go with the shower and return thing?

I just bought the book "Taking charge of your fertility and just started tracking my temps this morning. I am on day 3 of my menstraul cycle and Took my temp and it was 98.2 But I was looking at the "sample" charts through out the book and they are showing well under 98 when your on your period more like 97.2 and so on. I did it like it said woke up reached over and took my temp. They are showing ovulation and pregnancy temps as 98 and up. Could I have had a early miscarriage and thinking its my period? I did have a large "clot" and normally dont have clots in my periods. Help I am confused!

Would you consider it a learning experience if I gave you a quick pop on the butt? It's padded, so it shouldn't hurt, and after all, your actions need to bring about consequences for you to learn from. Is that ok?

My cycles are pretty irregular (14, 27, then 21 days). Today is cycle day 29 for me, but my chart (I haven't been temping very long) says I'm only 7 DPO, so I'm waiting until next week to test.

A little bit of TMI, sorry. Usually I have a little bit of brown spotting (old blood I figured) about 5 days before my period starts, but that didn't happen this month. Yesterday I had very very light pink only when I wiped and figured I was starting my period. Today, it's almost gone! I'm not even sure it's there anymore! Sometimes I really think my eyes are playing tricks with me.

What's going on? Any ideas on what this sounds like?

Take a look at my chart if you'd like. My average temp is lower than most peoples:

My almost 10 month old use to poop what we called "colorful rocks." They were almost the size and consistancy of an adult poop and was either green or yellow tinted depending on what he ate. Now, instantly, his poop is a very runny yellow and smells to high heaven!!! The only change we've made in his diet is adding some Gerber 3rd foods that are a lil chunkier. Any thoughts on why this is happening? The family was sick for a day (24 hour flu thing) but it's been a while now, and he still poops Dijonaise!

I had unprotected sex 3 times in a row on July 24-25th... and in the morning unprotected---(didn't use the pull out method either) My first day of my last period was on July 10th.My period is due on the 6th and it doesnt really feel like it is coming. My nipples feel RAW- they are SOO sensitive to touch- I have been having cramps but they don't feel like menstrual cramps-LIKE GAS- I have been moody, and oh so forgetful-I took a test an it was negative-(to early) My stomach is starting to fell like I have been doing sit-ups ( that tight feeling)...usually before my period comes I get that white creamy discharge that eventually turns red, but the discharge i am getting now is still white but it seems to be thinning out. ( not as thick. I also have had a fever for the last couple of nights. -99.2- What do u think- I am going to take a test on monday..but.. i am scared!

I had a terrible time BFing my first 2 children, had to go to bottles eventually. I simply do not produce enough milk, and have tried all suggestions from both my Doctor and the lactation specialist. To skip the overwhelming disappointment of HAVING to use bottles and not solely breast feed, I plan to use both from birth with my next one. How is the best way to do this to successfully? I think I want to go 50/50 or 75 bottle/25 breast.

My husband and I are rich, he is always away, but I don't work so I spend most of the day with our 12 year old daughter. She spends her summers at camp, so while she's away I have been thinking about sending her to boarding school for the entire school year. Would it be mean to send her to boarding school and then send her off to summer camp too?

I like this guy and up at Girl's Camp I told his older sister that she could tell him... I have this feeling that she told him and that he likes me because he has been staring at me when ever I'm around him... I'm also getting rides from him to school this year. He's 16 and I'm 15. I also have this feeling that he's going to ask me to Prom or Homecoming this year. What should I do?

For both of my pregnancies I have always craved Ceasars (the drink) So I've bought all the stuff to make them minus the liquor. When I have one or two I start to feel a little light headed almost like I'm tipsy. I'm just wondering if this could be in my head or has anyone else expierenced this while drinking a virgin drink?

I still breastfeeding but not as much because my son is nine months old and is eating soilds ( about six times in 24 hours). I still have gotten my period back. But in the last two months I'll have cramping now and then. I don't know what is going on. What could this mean? (I'm active but use codoms 80% of the time.)

i am a 15 year old girl and for at least a year now, i have been constantly furious with my parents and i don't know why. only 50% of the time do they actually do something to make me mad, but the other 50% im just fuming and i don't want them anywhere near me and just to LEAVE ME ALONE!! and most of that time im so mad i cry. then i feel hopeless and depressed and envy all the "happy" families

everyone goes through this right? or can i consider therapy or something?

There are a lot of times when I feel like I want to have a baby in order to stop my period for 9 months. My periods are horrible...I have cramping, headaches, dizziness, and a flow that causes me to have to change a tampon and a super maxi pad every two hours or so, and on top of that it lasts for a week. I've thought about birth control, but my mom just blows off that there is a problem, and tells me it will get better so there's no other way that I can get it. I'm 15. Any suggestions?

My husband and I have been married for a year now. We have been together for a total of 5 years. A few months ago we tried having a baby. I got pregnant and lossed the baby at 6 weeks. I had a lot of test run and I am in good health. I went to the doctor, did and exam and was told I was ready to start trying again. I told my husband and he said NO that he does not want kids for a few years now. I was so devastated. I try talking to him about it. He said that he wanted a 4 wheeler and new shead. So we went out and got a new 4-wheeler and new shead and he still does not want to try again. I don't understand. I am a very good wife why doesn't he want kids with me now? Please Help!

I am still breastfeeding and I just got my period, then I just noticed my daughter has white discharge and slight blood in her diaper. I know it is normal at birth for this to happen because of my hormones, but is it still normal at eight months old? I did just get my period so I know my hormones are out of whack.

There is a research out today from Univ of Bristol/UK that says that you are 3 times more likely to use corporal punishment on your children, if you experienced that during your childhood. I don't really think so, but what do you think?
