Just talking to him is the best "playing" you can do. Babies this age are little sponges. My son is 3 months old also, and I have 3 older daughters at 5 1/2, 4, and 2 years old. Spend as much time holding him now as you can he will grow up fast! My son actually loves tummy time now-we put a few toys around him and he scoots about reaching for them. SInging songs to him is great as well. Going for walks outside if it is not too hot is good for both of you, or to the mall at least, or grocery store just to get out and explore, by 3 months he can see pretty well.

3 months of skating probable wont prepare you for enjoying for a college. I propose looking a medical institution at your community rink, the instructor ought to have the potential that may assist you with just about all your questions. From adventure, this is going to likely be plenty greater rather well worth the time in case you reside out of a aggressive league for a rapid at a similar time as. Get some fundementals, learn the sport, and you will savour it plenty greater. leaping suitable in ought to reason you to lose that enthusiasm, which could be a disgrace.

Here are things I have done with my daughters at that age:
> show your hands and fingers for them to study and hold
> copy her noises and smiles and expressions - babies love your face
> reward all her attempts at communication (smiles, wriggles, giggles, waving etc) with hugs, kisses, squeals, smiles and giggles
> help them reach out for toys and her toes
> hold baby around waist or chest to help them stand and develop strength in the legs
> give baby toys to hold and shake and help her hands and arms to move and grip
> show books with simple, bold images in them - amazingbaby books are great http://www.templarpublishing.co.uk/amazingbaby/index.html
> show puppets
> do rhymes like this little piggy and incy wincey spider that have bold hand movements
When you do tummy time, do you get down with your son so he can see your face? then you can smile and play and encourage from his level and persepctive - makes it much more rewarding.
I did this every day from about 2 and a half months - just for a few seconds at first, to a minute or so and now at 5 months, by second daughter will enjoy up to 20 minutes on her tummy, although she does love rolling about all over the place!

My son turned three months this past Wednesday... here's what we do...
1) Sing. Over and over...
2) Play 'This little piggy'
3) Make funny faces, weird sounds... they adore this
4) Read to him or her, and overdo the words - you may only get a page or two in, but it's really important to read to them
5) Play in the bathtub... we do extra baths, because he likes to 'swim' and splash - but you have to mosturize really well after each one.
6) Practice 'walking' (hold under his arms)
7) Practice turning over
8) Do tummy time with him on your belly and make weird faces and talk to him
The sillier you feel, the more he will like it. And you get used to being goofy all of the time.

Do what mothers do best, talk with the child the way you would talk to some older kid. Baby's are not stupid. They really need to be spoken to. Use that famous baby talk. They do try to talk back.
Play with their toes and make up stories.
Bonus answer for you and for whomever reads this.
When outdoors and for some reason the baby starts crying uncontrollably check to see that the sunlight is not directly on their face. Sunlight hurts the eyes badly. Even to adults.

3 month olds have an attention span that lasts about a nanosecond. Try having him grab at toys & keep changing the toys.
Mostly, give it time. Soon he will find his feet and hands and they will be fasinating to him.
Enjoy him - they grow up so fast!
