i would like more details. like how old are you, does your mom also work, and why does it bother you to watch her?
is it because you cant do things you want to do anymore? well put yourself in your mothers shoes. she is taking care of two children now, trying to run a household and make sure you are both healthy. She needs and deserves a break every now and then. and if you want your mom to do things for you (which I'm sure she does plenty for you already) help her out too. OFFER to help take care of your little sister, and if that bothers you so much offer to do the things she has to do that leaves you watching her. Like do the dishes for her and let her take care of the baby, if you know how and are allowed to cook dinner for her one night. you'll get out of baby duty and help her out very much and shell be very appreciative. its tough to be a mom and she deserves as much help as she can get from you.
if you really HATE to watch your baby sister then tell your mom and WHY you hate to do it. Remember she gave up a lot more than you to take care of you and your sister.
I personally would consider my son to be selfish and spoiled if he felt this way about helping me take care of his younger sibling(s). I'm so glad my stepdaughter helps me out now and the baby isn't born yet, and i know she'll be a good big sister.

Enjoy it now, because later when the baby gets older, she is going to look up to her big brother, and want to be around you ALL THE TIME!!!!! So deal with the fact that babies take a lot of attention, and understand that you are the big brother, therefor you are the natural babysitter and help your Mom out and watch your sister for more than 10 minutes out of your life.

You can't. She won't hear it. But i like what the other guy said, the 'duct tape and a closet' solution sounds good, though it might turn out a bit cruel and back fire on you if you continue to use this method when she learns to communicate completely. But, really, giving her 10 mins of your very valuable time may seem like much now, but think of when she gets older (like the other one said) and wants to be around you aaallllll the time and you only have like 10 mins to yourself...10 mins is heaven huh?

Well obviously someone watched you for longer than 10 minutes at a time. Be patient and try to help your mom out, it is not easy for her either. School is almost back in and then you wont have to watch her as much anyway. And really a sister or brother is a great thing to have, one day you will appreciate her.

Your baby sister should mean the world to you. You should want to take care of her, and protect her and teach her new things. The fact that you are so selfish and resentful makes me feel like you are jealous of that little baby. How horrible will you feel once she's grown and doesn't want to have anything to do with you since you alienated yourself from her for so long?
