My little guy want's to be like his big brothers so bad. He can take off his diaper by himself, he says potty and runs to the bathroom, and stands there like the big boys. But that's all. He hasn't been able to make the potty come out. Is this common. My older two never had that problem. They just couldn't get there in time. What are some ways to help him. He wants to do it so bad.

i belive in babies having routine.. if you don't, please don't asnwer this question.. i want answers that agree with my way of parenting..




he's 4 months and is able to go 4 hours between feeds. and play 2 - 2 1/2 hours before needing a nap. So i want to establish a routine where he'll eat, play, then sleep untill he's hungry again. This will work out perfect will the hours of sleep he requires during the day.. One problem.. he only takes 45 minutes naps.. then is cranky after an hour... Any suggestions on a different routine that don't require feeding before nap?

when i put him back to sleep after that 45 mins ( with alot of crying ) he'll wake up when hungry and is much more happy baby and our day is so smooth when i stick to this.. i would love to make it work.. but i can't change his catnapping habit

It's the normal yellow-ish color, but i'm just wondering if the liquid part is ok? And her stools are also producing stinky odors. She is Colic, and whenever she passes gas, it usually involves the smell and liquid poop....can anyone relate?

I just bought Clomid w/o a prescription? Can anyone give me some advice how i use it? I heard from somone here i start 3-5 days in my cycle does that mean i take it 3 or 5 days into my period? Does anyone know do i take it everyday? I dont have insurance yet and i heard clomid worked I am hoping it comes with the ways to take it? Could anyone who has taken it please tell me the proper way to take it? Thanks A Bunch.

I have seen some water bugs in my house and they are freakin me out..yes I know I am a sissy :) But I have a 9 week old baby and would like to set off a bomb this weekend, upstairs and down. If I set it off at noon and come home around 9:00 should they be enough time to air out so that it will not harm my son?

i lift semi heavy thing like casesf pop and water not all day but a few a day, do u think its causing stress on the baby? im a fairly average size person and when i lift i usually just lift with my arms insted of using all my body wieght, i see my doc in a hour and im going to ask her? but would you say that everything should be ok?? im 16 weeks...

This almost disconcerts me (although I know this is my problem! lol)

Although I accept milk is a food, babies are so clearly DRINKING! I find it really weird to think of my baby 'eating' when i am breastfeeding! eeeww. Puts all sorts of weird pictures in my head that most certainly are not happening when my baby FEEDS.

Bottle or boob, they really are drinking, so how come everyone (U.S?) says 'eat'??

At what age did you first allow your children fast food? I remember as a child I never had fast food until I was in 5th grade and it was a Happy Meal from McDonalds. My mother didnt buy it for me my friend Linda's mom did. That being said I am the mother of a 14yr old and a 14 month old a step mother to a 7 yr old and I raised my two nephews ages 17 and soon to be 16. My husband takes his 7yr old daughter to McDonalds atleast once a week as her mother feeds her nothing but fast food and she begins to have withdrawals from it. My 14yr old has only had fast food once or twice in her life due to medical condition. I myself do not consume it unless its subway or a salad. Anyhow he brought home a Chicken Nugget happy meal to our 14 month old son. All I could think about was the fat in the food and removed the coating and allowed him to eat the meat as well as the apples. My 7yr old SD and my husband think I am weird for removing the breading does anyone else do this? Also when was the first

We're expecting our first baby in December. I was wondering if anyone knows whether babies sleep through this sort of noise or what?

My thinking was that the baby would be too disturbed by it all but then I read that babies sleep through anything...

I hate to move because we're planning on getting a house in September of next year anyhow...

Oh, I reported my upstairs neighbors one day and a lady from the office came to her apartment. Ever since, it's been a wee bit quieter but they don't talk to me so when I hear banging that sounds like a meteor hit the building, I feel too uncomfortable to say anything to her.

Children are so picky these days, both of my nephews only buys from certain names, one of them buys from Pacific Sun only, the other one likes A&F, American Eagles. It seems that our life is started to evolve around my daughter's friend. She is the queen bee of her group. It seems that every time she calls my daughter she expects us to drop everything so my daughter can go shopping, or over to her house. I try and put my foot down and and say no, we already have plans, but they make me feel like I'm such a mean mom. How can I handle this so I don't look so bad?

I am ttc and my ovulation date was the 19th or 20th. Last night I started to get a yeast infection.
