I am having a baby boy in October and am trying to come up with a first name to go with the middle name of Jonathon. Any suggestions would be great.

Would you let your daughters boyfriend(both 12) live with you? His home life is not good, so he crashes at our house alot. When ever he comes over, he is crying really hard. He would sleep on the sofa downstairs. I compleatly trust them home together alone. He comes over alot and they hang out in her room and they never do stupid things. He is "Emo Stright Edge" which means no drugs, alcohol, sex, or voilence. We all love him to death, but my husband says that allowing them to live together would make us grand parents very soon. My main concern is his band. I don't know how the neighbors will react to their music. He is very polite. Would you let him stay?
I trust them with the doors closed! My husband doesn't trust them in the TV room, with the lower halves of their bodys covered in a blanket with the whole family in the room. Would you leave them home alone for a weekend?

My daughter wants him to sleep in her room but I said No Way! If they break-up, I would allow him to stay. My husband and I put him in rehab 3 months ago. Now he is a NON cutter! We paid for rehab and instead of cutting, he now plays drums, guitar, or bass. We are all very proud.

He is one month old but i have notice that he chokes and spit-up milk everytime i feed him. I have changed bottles to Dr Brown's bottles and he stills spit-up allot. I try the burpe drops and nothing in his first doctor visit i asked if he could be allergic to it and if he might need lactose-free formula but she said he is fine because he is gaining wait and he dosen't have blood in his poop but its been a month and it hasen't change even though he dosen't complain of colics he looks healty but the spit-up and choking at night makes me concern please any advise i would be thank full

My 17-yr. old sister slept with my ex-boyfriend who's now 40 & conceived a baby shortly after Hurricane Katrina. CPS recently took the 10-month old baby away. She said, "Why should I care about that whore anyway? She was nothing but a hurricane souvenir!" & she thought it was funny. I wanted to choke the PISS out of her, but I just nodded my head, saying how pathetic she is. & the other kids around her laughed because she was laughing.

Ever since I went off the pill two years ago, I still don't have regular and normal periods. My hubby and I know this can happen when you've been on pill for a long time, but how can I tell if I am fertile and ovulating regularly etc. Is there a product on the market that tells me, I don't want to have to go through tests and doctors poking around etc.
Thanks for your help, we really want a bubby!

used the "C" word today,,, i was in such shock, that I almost lost my teeth. he said he herd it at school....and the older kids to him it was a good word,,, i did explainto him it was a VERY bad word. should I have used soap in the mouth? i just made him go to his room, until (I could calm down) he used it in anger at his little brother.

So I found out I was pregnant about 3 days ago. Im only 18 and was with my bf 4 years. (we broke up b4 i found out). I have so much ahead of me in my future!! Im moving to Paris in sept. for school and he is also going to college. We dont want to be together. I dont no what to do. I dont no how i could ever tell my parents!!! And i want to go to Paris sooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... My bf wants me to have an abortion and i am prob 50/50 on the idea. I dont no what to do. Please tell me what u all think!!!! I see no spanking junk all over this place. I do not condone spanking for everything and I have only spanked my son once. So, what would you do if you were loading up grocceries when all of a sudden your child [under two] let go of your hand and ran out into the street? How can you possibly explain that to a child? Futhermore, how do you stop that sort of thing from happening without using a leash?

My daughter is 8 and is apparently starting puberty young, which I believe is the norm nowadays. So far the signs are breast buds and pimples. She had a really big pimple a couple of weeks ago, which went away on its own, but now she has at least 4 little ones. I have had the discussion about her period and all of that, but I am concerned about her face. I don't have problematic skin, so I want to make sure I do what I'm supposed to do to protect her skin.

I am a single mom with a seven year old daughter. Up until 6 months ago we lived with my parents and siblings, we also shared a room. Six months ago we moved out with my long term boyfriend. Her father is rarely in the picture and she prefers not to see him. My daughter is a wonderful,shy,smart girl. Her one fault is bedtime. She usually goes to bed alright, but I can't get her to stay asleep through the night. She wakes up crying and scared. She wants me with her. She spends alot of weekends at my parents house. She loves it there, and I think its mostly because my mom sleeps with her when she is there. My question is...do i go in and sleep with her when she cries to comfort her? Or do I let her cry and tell her she needs to sleep alone. There has already been so many changes for her recently, I have a hard time doing that. Please lend me your advice. Thanks.

In June I had my period for 14 days when all my life it only lasted for 5 days. But I was not really bleeding, bleeding, it was when I only wiped myself I saw blood. I have always got my period on time since I was 13, I am now 18. I am 11 days late on my periiod and still have not recieved it and do not think I am going to get. I have been sick for 2 weeks now, alot of nasuea, and throwing up, and food I love I dont want to eat or look or smell or I feel like I am goIng to throw up! I took a cheap pregnancy test on Sat. and it gave me a faint negative line. I took a Easy Blue test and it said not pregnant. I really think I am cause I have never felt this way before. Some people to me I have to wait a little longer then take another. I have not had sex since June, right before the day my period came on. Please, your advice is well appreciated!

Last time i had unprotected sex with my gf i only gave a max of 8 pumps from the back. To tell you the truth i was more focus on not cummin then pleasing her...I guess you can say i use the pre-pull out method. Im not a guy who waits till his final pump. I play it safe when i do it like that because i knew bout the numerous risk..Im just saying if i really wanted to have good intimate sex with her i would put the condom on and finish like that...Im just wondering if i wasnt safe enough...PLEASE help me! My friends tell me im cool but i want to know what everybody else says.

What would you do if you were in my place?
He is 10yrs old and I feel like I wait on him the entire time I am watching him. ALSO, he drinks like a TON of milk while he is here, not to mention that he eats a lot (and asks for things that he hasn't been offered!!!) and I end up with an empty milk carton, no food and dirty dishes to do! ALSO, we live in a studio apt so when he comes over, he wants to watch TV (never wants to play or go outside) and he sprawls out all over our bed. I have nowhere to sit! I mean, I can sit at the computer, or hell, I could go in the kitchen and wash the dishes he makes as he makes them and make him more food!!! Arg. Am I overreacting or is he too old to be so dependent and is he old enough to know better than to ask for seconds and tirds and for food he hasn't been offered???

how long do u have when u start having braxton hicks before u go into full blown contractions?
curious because i want 2 have my baby soon cause he is causing some pains and al be 37weeks on monday and started gettin some braxton hicks a few days ago(guessing about 3days ago) i know braxton hicks doesnt mean al go into labor any time soon or bring on labor but how long did u get them before u started have full blown contractions

my mom is pregnant again believe it or not and im now 16, i was just wondering about this bc usually my mom is a Pepsi fanatic and shes been craving one for some months now, and she was scared to drink it... but last night she drank one. I asked her why you cant drink carbonated drinks while your pregnant and she just said that it can give you very bad integestion (gas) but she also didnt quite understand because they tell women to drink things like sprite and gingerale to settle their stomachs... i was just wondering is it safe what does it really do?

It's a long storey, so I won't explain it, but I actually saw this happen to another child. My nephew was playing with this child. I thought it was the child's father, but when the child left with a woman, and the man who hit him stayed behind, I realised with horror that this man hit a complete strangers child.

She is just about to turn 4 and I feel so bad because I have sat here and given advice to other parents and here I am asking for it now myself. Within the last few months, my daughter has just become the biggest little snot ever! I am due to have my baby in a week but I don't really think that has much to do with her attitude problem..she is very sweet and loving in that department, even carries around a doll that she named after the baby on the way. But here is a list of her behavioral problems:
Whining to the extreme. I've heard kids whining before but she wines about EVERYTHING and I've never been the type to give in to it.
The "little miss thang" attitude. We can be in the store and I will tell her to settle down a bit because she's getting out of hand and she will straight up tell me, "No you settle down." She mostly only does this in public though, not so much at home.
Blatent disregard for the rules. She will pick up her toys and help out when I ask but when it comes (continued)

All a sudden I feel like I can't breathe. Its feel like a tightening in my throat. I keep having to take big deeps breathe's in and then breathe out. Well, about 5 min. after it starting happening, I got really dizzy.
I'm still having breathing problems and still feel dizzy.
I'm 23 weeks pregnant.
Does anyone know why this is happening, what is causing it?

I've heard good and bad about bumpers in the crib. Do they serve a purpose, or are they there strictly for asthetic reasons? I've also heard they are a suffocation hazard. Any truth to either of these rumors? Any help appreciated.

I see so many questions posted in this subcategory that seem to be posted BY adolescents. While there is certainly a number of adolescents who are pregnant or who are parents, I think the purpose of the category is for parents OF adolescents to post their questions and answers. What do you think?

Is there another category within Yahoo! Answers that these children could post their questions about how to tell if a guy likes them or what not, besides in the Pregnancy and Parenting section? I usually choose to ignore the questions, but sometimes it is just slightly irritating seeing as how it is not in an appropriate category.

She is 9 months old and is mostly eating all "real" food.
Anything she can pick up and put in her mouth. She is not a real big fan of the pureed stuff anymore, though she will eat it.
I have given her some stuff just wondering what else is good.
Things i have given her:
toast with butter and with jelly,
pancakes, french toast,
hamburger, chicken, cut up veggies(soft) cheerios, chicken noodles, all the gerber snacks, ravioli, hot dog(small pieces)
scrambled eggs(doc said okay)
what else can i give at this age that will be easy for her to pick up and eat?
also i read cheese but do you just use the big block cheese and cut into squares or string cheese or shredded?
THANKS so much in advance!!

btw-this is my 2nd baby but with my first she was in daycare 5 days/week for 2 out of 3 meals so they just fed her most things and then i knew it was okay =D
