My 17-yr. old sister slept with my ex-boyfriend who's now 40 & conceived a baby shortly after Hurricane Katrina. CPS recently took the 10-month old baby away. She said, "Why should I care about that whore anyway? She was nothing but a hurricane souvenir!" & she thought it was funny. I wanted to choke the PISS out of her, but I just nodded my head, saying how pathetic she is. & the other kids around her laughed because she was laughing.

Your 17 year old sister is out of control. The first clue is sleeping with your ex, the second is that the ex is 40, the clincher is how she would just throw away a baby and leave a commit so unloving. She is old enough to make babies she is old enough to deal with the consequences of her actions. You can't fix her she has to come to herself by herself. Let her know how disgusted with her you are and that you are not going to pick up the pieces to her life. And be grateful the child is away from her influence and probable lack of care. The child deserves a shot your sister had hers and blew it. You have to let her go her way. She will have to learn the hard way, some people do. So don't help her let her learn.

Your sister called her own child a whore and said she didn't care that her baby was taken away from her and laughed about it? Wow, what a painful situation for you to be in. I don't think there's anything that you could have said that would have helped in the situation that you were in. Maybe just getting up and leaving would have been best? I hope that the baby finds a family who will love and care for her as she deserves to be. I'm sorry you had to deal with this.

Whether or not she was my sister, I would make sure the child's law guardian or social worker knew what her mother said! It sounds as if the child is much better off just about anywhere than with her mother! That poor baby :(
I would have wanted to choke her also. Good for you for keeping yourself in check, though. Hopefully you can still be a part of your niece's life!

You should be pleased a woman like that has no influence over the new born baby. Be glad you will be there for the child who might want to look for their mother.You can be the sanity in the child's life. Your sister probaly suffers from depression and many other things. Maybe she should go to counselling.

OMG reading your question makes me want to choke your sister....what a little bit**......but what can you say....she needs to really grow up....sounds like shes the whore not the innocent baby....shes pathetic and whatever you said or would say to her probably wouldn't make a difference

That's wrong...she shouldn't be kidding around like that.1. she's 17 and slept with a 40 year old man.2.That's illegal 3.she giggles and jokes around. I think you should tell her how you feel about this.

holy crap, i am so glad she isnt attempting to parent that poor baby anymore.
Are you younger or older than your sister??? If you are younger than i think that your response was probably typical, considering you were around a bunch of her friends that were in obvious agreement with her. If you are older, than grow a back bone and defend your neice!!

I would have said, is this how you feel about your own child?Tell her YOU got used for sex and dumped.You are a whore here,not the baby and you need to grow up.Then ask the others"what are you losers laughing at?Go home.

Sounds like your sister needs to grow up. The best thing to do in a situation like this, when you want to slap the p out of her is to walk away. Walk very far away.........Unfortunately, we don't choose our siblings. We don't always have to like them, it's just some baggage we get stuck with sometimes

I would have said 'I hope someone treats you as useless and unimportant as you treat this other tiny individual'. After that I would not say anything, no matter how much they try to get me to react I would just respond repeatedly 'you will get treated that way someday, just wait and see'
