You should NOT NOT NOT be taking Clomid without a prescription!!! It is SO DANGEROUS. If you take it, your doctor needs to monitor you to see how many mature eggs will come out. Only then will you know your risk of conceiving multiples (yes, while it doesn't happen often, people HAVE been known to conceive 4-6 babies on this drug!). If you don't want to be faced with the option of selective reduction (aborting one ot more babies), DO NOT take this drug unless you are under a doctor's care. There is also a chance of ovarian hyperstimulation, a VERY painful and dangerous condition.
THROW THE PILLS OUT AND SEE A DOCTOR!!!

I didn't know that you could get Clomid without a prescription. If it is possible, I wouldn't trust it. Just because the people you get it from says its Clomid doesn't mean that it is. They could be giving you something else. You pretty much have to be monitored while taking it. You may feel like you can't wait but you can. Even if you get it doesn't mean that you're going to get pregnant as soon as you take it. Most women who take Clomid (with a prescription from their doctor) have to take it for a few months before they get pregnant. I'm on it and if I'm not pregnant now, I'm going on my 7th round of it. You really should wait.

The days on which you take the Clomid, as well as the dosage you should take, varies. You really do need a doctor's input on this as it will vary depending on your hormone levels and the particular circumstances.
I can also tell you that if you use it incorrectly, it can cause more trouble conceiving that it will help. Please consult a doctor.
I also agree with the others that are asking how are you certain that it is actually Clomid, if you did not get it from a legitimate source? If it is from another country (such as Mexico, which is a popular place to order drugs from without a prescription), then it does not have to meet FDA guidelines which are in place for your safety.
Personally, I would flush them down the toilet.

So you bought a drug off the street? How so you know that its really Clomid and not something really weird that is laced and you end up in the hospital. If you don't have insurance then why are you trying to get pregnant? In other words, if you cant afford a Dr. appt and a prescription for Clomid then honey you should be having a baby!!

I understand being willing to do absolutely whatever it takes to have a baby, but taking these pills may actually hinder your chances if taken without doctor's input. I would hold on to them and try something herbal like Ovulex or Fertilaid instead while you save up the money to get some health insurance. Once you get health insurance (if you aren't already pregnant by then) I would call the doctor and take the pills in so that he can tell you what they are and how to take them. Good luck!

I have taken it to conceive all 3 of my pregnancies. This is not a prescription you want to take lightly because it can hyperstimulate your ovaries which can enlarge them. I was always checked monthly to make sure mine weren't. Also, how do you know that you need it? If you are ovulating regularly, then taking it could increase the amount of eggs released, which would increase your chances of having twins or multiples. I would also be leery of taking any prescription drug that someone sold to you without a prescription. How do you know it's the real thing? I just want you to understand what you are doing before taking it.
I took it for 5 days, on days 3-7 of my cycle. Day 1 is the first day of your period. I then had sex every other day from days 10-20 of my cycle in case I ovulated earlier than normal. Sperm generally live for 2 days and a man's sperm count replenishes every 48 hours, so it's not necessary to have sex everyday.
Some side effects I experienced while taking it included irritability, night sweats and slight weight gain.
I also charted my bbt while on Clomid to make sure I was ovulating. To learn about this, check out fertilityfriend.com.

why dont you go to the proper doctor and tell him to prescribe you one? dont buy on the net as it can be a fake one...Please dont take risk and it could be danger to your body and you might be poison to it and die. If you want to have a baby then talk to real doctor like the fertility doctor and they will be willing to help you. I am on clomid but prescribed to me by my fertility doctor. Hmmm still waiting coz I am on my 3rd cycle of clomid but i will find out next week if I am preggy...go and see a proper doctor for that..

why would u put something in your body that you are not sure is safe to take? there are many scammers who manufacture fake pills....you don't know what in the world that pill may be. don't take it. it could be rat poison, diswashing detergent, baking soda, talcum powder....who knows? leave it alone.
