I am ttc and my ovulation date was the 19th or 20th. Last night I started to get a yeast infection. I did some research and found that this could be an early sign of being preggers b/c of all the hormones. Has this happened to anyone else and were u preggers? Please advise. Any comments will help. Thanks!

i heard and read that too - the 2nd month i was ttc i got a yeast infection and read all about it being a sign of pregnancy but alas, i was not preggers, and i chalked it up as a problem from too much sex :(
I dont know that you would have any symptoms yet anyway cuz you are only a few days past ovulation and if the egg did get fertilized then it may still be traveling thru the tubes to implant into the uterus, this process takes anywhere from 6-12 days.
I am also in the dreaded 2 week wait period and want everything to be a pregnancy sign. I ovulated on the 18th so we are pretty much on the same cycle. If you need to talk shoot me an email.

It's not necessarily a "sign" of pregnancy but from my own personal experience, being pregnant makes you more susceptible to getting yeast infections. I never got them before I was pregnant (well I had 1 years ago). Now, at 36 weeks pregnant I have had 3 yeast infections and 2 bacterial infections. So, I'm not sure what to tell you but I did see a correlation myself. Good Luck!

OK I am not sure about it being an early sign but as a person who has been known to get bladder infections I recommend drink cranberry juice. Everyday for the week of ovulation at least. I hate cranberry juice but drank it religiously while ttc so I would not get a B/I or a yeast infection. There are anti-oxidants in the juice that help your urinary tract. That way you can go to bed with the sperm in and not worry having to go to the bathroom. Good luck conceiving and I hope you problem goes away!

both my pregnancies were due to yeast infection..
I went in for some cream, and came out with a positive pregnancy test. I never get yeast infections. The discharge that's building up to prevent infection plus the new hormones being shot into your uterus can cause a yeast infection.

It could be a sign of pregnancy, but not a guarantee. I had a yeast infection 2 months ago and I was not pregnant. On the flip side, my sister-in-law got a yeast infection the same day she found out she was pregnant.

Yes this could be a sign of pregnancy.

If you douch too often, or take baths in perfumes gels, you could also get an infection. And of course, you can get one from wearing tight pants or underwear, or from wearing NON cotton lining underwear.

Nope. I don't have any yeast infection with any of my pregnancy. I don't think that the hormone cause yeast infection.

thats not a pregnancy sign. your still in your ovulation week so there is no way thats a pregnancy sign its more a sign of either a dirty partner, (meaing one who isnt clean before sex) or your not properly wiping down there see your doctor and get this treated and get your partner treated he can pass it right back to you. no sex til you both finish your meds seriously

the egg has not implanted if you did get pregnant there are no signs of pregnancy until after that happens and the first sign is always a missed period and sore breasts.
