I would NOT do this. You are putting toxin on everything in that house. A small baby could be very vulnerable to even a small amount left in the house. It could make your baby very sick and I know you wouldn't want to take that risk. Try using the Combat roach bait for large roaches. It worked for us.

You're not a sissy..water bugs and roaches are nasty and I personally can't live with them. The time frame you gave is long enough to wait to come home but here's what you have to do...Bomb the house/apt at noon and leave until about 8 or 9. However, you must air out the place for a GOOD hour to make it safe for baby to breathe. Please don't walk right in with the baby without airing it out first. Also, since I'm not an expert, call the 1-800 number on the back of the can to find out for sure. Good Luck!

That should be fine. Just open up your windows to get a stream of air going through the house.
Also, read the box warnings and see if they say anything about it being hazardous to a baby after the allotted amount of time.

we bombed our house for the same reason when my son was three weeks. get a room for the night and get some one else or your husband to go in and open the windows as advised on the canisters. open all cabinets . cover the crib with a blanket and scrum it down before you bring baby back. same for the swing and any other furniture clean all dishes in hot water and boil the bottles. get the house aired out for 24 hours before bringing baby back

yes, just open the windows before you bring the baby back in the house and turn some fans on. but you probably won't kill that many water bugs because i think they only come out when it rains.

Don't do that. If you bombed the house, you would have to wash EVERY single surface it got, like his bed, his blankets, your blankets, the couch, etc. to make sure the baby doesn't end up exposed to the poison. Bad idea.

Absolutely. If you can, come home around 6, open one or two windows, (not wide open) then go have dinner and return. The baby should be fine.
