How do I check my cervix to see if I'm dialated and what does your cervix feel like??? I am 72 miles from the dr and I have a pink tinged discharge. (This is my third pregnancy) and I need to know if I need to go in. I have contractions if I lay down and lots of pressure if I get up or walk.

My son just randomly had 2 black eyes appear. They arent real dark, kind of a reddish purple underneath both eyes. Theres no swelling, he says it doesnt hurt, and he didnt hurt himself. When i asked him what happened he said he itched his eye. Could that be from some kind of allergy? Anyone ever heard of that before? Should i be concerned? Theres an after hours clinic down the road open for another hour and a half, i was thinking of taking him there, but it seems kinda silly to me....just wondering any other parents opinions. And please spare me the call his dr lecture...if i was convinced it was something serious, i wouldnt be sitting here right now, just trying to see if this has happened to anyone before, or theyd heard of anything like this. Thanks!

i first found out i was preg one week ago i am 5 weeks . i was smoking almost 2 pack of cigs till i found out i am down to 5 cigs a day im goin to try to quit . am i doin good? and i feel flutters in my lower belly is that the baby or sac stretching or growing? ITS NOT GAS ITHER LOL

ok i just bought some deli macaroni salad to be honest ive never bought it before i usually ate it at cookouts and stuff but never bought my own but ive been craving it LOL.

ive never eaten it pregnant. but is it ok to eat all i see on the label thats altlle worrysome is egg yolks is an ingredient in the mayo.

Recently I notice my 3 year old son keeps shrugging his shoulders while he is working, when he does this he also shakes his hands a bit. Another thing he does he has this phrase "little heaven" when he says this he grits his teeth, and tenseses his body (by the way I dont know what "little heaven" means) I am not so concerned about the second part of this question as much as the first. I know when kids are small and they cannot fully express themselves they ie if they are upset excited angry they may act that way. But whats up with him shrugging his shoulders. Thanks guys

and now he is scared to hold his 6 month old child he wont even go see him or take him to his house unless, the only time he will go talk to him is if someone else is there because he is scared he might have somthing come over him and he might hurt his child, I know he would never have the heart to he is a very sweet boy(he is 15 almost 16) and he loves his kid(all kids with that fact) but he heard some where that a rape victum will most often rape other people, how can I show him he will not hurt his son, because I know he would rather die then hurt him, his sons stroler was pushed out infront of a car by a drunk man who was stumbleing down the street once and my friend got hit by the car so he could roll the stroller over to me so i know he wouldn't hurt him what should I do

my friend misses his kid he has pictures of him every where and he only had him because the babys mom thought she had cancer and she wanted to leave a baby behind and my friend cryed after they "made the baby"

My sister is 8 months pregnant and she just remember that when she was 1 month pregnant ( on December ) she did not know she was pregnant so she did drink a cup of wine on Christmas eve and that was the only one time that she drank a cup of wine .

Does it affect the baby ? birth defects ? or mental illness ?? She's 8 months now and the baby is fine ( according to her prenatal doctor). But I'm afraid that after the baby is born... something bad will happen to the baby ... Can it happen ?
