I gave birth 9days ago and the bleeding was easing off and had almost stopped... until today. When i stood up this morning loads of thick blood just poured out. Also im still throbbing down there. Is this normal after birth or is something wrong?

Im about 8 months pregnant and very often after I eat or drink my baby slightly jumps every 2-3 seconds for about 2-3 minutes.This happened once while I was having a ultrasound and the technician said"oh your baby has the hiccups" It totally slipped my mind when I went back to see my midwife.Is this possiable...how could you have the hiccups and you havent even taken a breath yet?

Do I legally have to claim anyone as my baby's father on the birth certificate? I know I can't file for child support if I don't claim paternity, but in a case of custody, do I have to claim the father on the birth certificate?

I didn't have a period last month, I went to the doctors and had a pregnancy test done. It came up Negitive. Its real confusing to me. I never miss my monthly cycle. I have been real tired, moody, crying alot and feeling sick to my belly but only at night. I have been pregnant twice and have a beautiful baby boy and girl. I am so confused. I have also been under alot of stress what the heck could be going on.

ok i took a pergnancy test last week and there was a very faint line so i thought nothing of it...well i was suppost to start on the 12th and nothing so far not even craps. and trust me i cramp BAD the day before. could i be pregnant??

i fooled a bit in the end of april (i.e. he didn't enter me) i had my periods in the beginning of may the right time. but i skipped in june just to be sure i took a urine pregnancy test in the end of june it was negative.
recently i had to take medicine for having no periods for 3 days even though i wasn't having them.
my ques. is could i be pregnant? even after the test showed negative after almost 2 months of a supposed posiibility?

I just returned from grocery with my 6 and 4 y/o children who where Barefoot, hey it's mid July. I am so mad at the RUDE comments. In my book going barefoot is a Rite of Childhood, it gives Children a tremendous sence of freedome. I would never let them do that anywhere it was not safe. I guess I just wanted to vent it off. have recently been hanging out with a guy and I am pretty sur that we are going to start going steady but I only have had one boyfriend before and that was the only person i had sex with. I am afraid since I am inexperienced, he will drop me like a hat. I dont know what to do. He is 19 years old and I am 17. My 6 year old daughter sneaks food at night and during the day, she weighs 76 pounds. We have her in sports to try and keep her weight in check. We have a lock on the pantry and she still gets into things. Just this past week I have caught her with popcycles at 6 am, soda at 6am and just now she came in from riding her bike and had chocolate on her face, she had gotten into the freezer in the garage and had eaten 2 chocolate ice cream cones. This has been going on since she was 3. I have caught her with a half gallon of ice cream in her bed. I don't know what to do. We used to have a cup hook lock on the pantry now its a combination lock, and since she can't get in there anymore she is moving on to other places where there is food. The only junk food in the house is her dads lunch stuff (cookies and chips) and Ice cream, when i buy treats for her and her brother she sneaks and eats them all. What do I do? She get's up in the middle of the night to get things.

my son is 4 months old and has been bottlefed since he was three weeks old. he has always ate fine on the bottle, and hasn't been too picky about nipples or the transition from breast to bottle. well, he got his 4 month vacinations yeasterday and ever since he has been fighting me about eating. since 7:30 last night, he has eaten less than 10 ounces. it is now 1 pm. i don't know what to do. everytime i try to feed him, he pushes the bottle away with his hands and when i try to gently push his hands away he cries. he doesn't have a fever and our ped says he isn't teething. i'm nervous about this, not to mention a tad bit frustrated. has anyone had this probelm before? we haven't switched nipples, btw.

I'll be 17 in November, and I am 4.5 weeks pregnant. I live with my mother in the house she owns. She is supportive of me but does not want me to keep this child. She suggests abortion/adoption. I've explained to her that altho I am ProChoice, this is not a situation in which I can justify abortion (for myself). My boyfriend is 19 (20 in November) and is very supportive. He works full time as a skilled worker, framing and building decks. I work part time at Dunkin Donuts. He is great, and says whatever I choose he will be there, but he doesn't want me to have an abortion or an adoption, either. I am finishing HS at my HS's nightschool program, where I can get my degree, GED, MCAS, etc. I am intelligent & wellspoken and test very well. I plan on attending college. So does he. My mom says we can't do it, that it is financially impossible. I disagree. Where there is a will, there's a way. Can two young people who are smart and hardworking, with drive, and love, manage raising their child?

Hello, I am almost 31 years-old, married and have a 3/12 year-old son. I am currently finishing my Bachelors in Social Work and my internship starts August 8 and I will finish January 4, 2008. It is 3 days a week. Here is my problem...

I have PCOS-Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome....Not to be too bold, but I do not have normal menstral cycles....Maybe 2-3 a year!! I do not ovulate.

I want to have another baby, and I went to the doctors and she told me that I would need to go on progestrone to ovulate...

My first pregnancy was hard, morning sickness everyday for almost 5 months,hospitalized for it for 2 days, preterm labor at 33 weeks and then bedrest until 39 weeks.

I feel like I should start trying as soon as possible for fear that I won't get pregnant, but if I do, there is a 25%-50% chance that my pregnancy will be similar my first one and I am afraid that I will be sick and it will ruin my internship.

I really want another baby!!
