I know you probably hear this alot but it's true - the baby will come when she's ready. And if you are at 39 weeks, you are pretty close, especially since you have lost your mucus plug and had your membranes stripped. Just remember that every day your baby is in the womb she is growing stronger and more ready to face the world.

Hope you will be holding her soon!

The baby will be here when SHE'S ready - not you. Keep in mind, the due date they gave was an estimate. They can often be off by 5 days. You can strip your membraines, do tons of walking, eat all the spicy food you want, and that baby will stay put until she's ready to be born. I know you're probably so uncomfortable right now, but in a blink of an eye, your child will be in your arms. You've gone 39 weeks already - one more won't kill ya!

Good luck!

BTW - my son was 5 days late!

Babies have there own schedule. Nothing you or anyone else can do to make her get here any sooner. Unless you have a c-section..Which to me makes no since if you are still under the 40 weeks mark.. Be patient she will get here when she is ready..

Gestation is 40 weeks...you are still a week early!! Don't try to force her out, she will come out when she is ready. It will be over before you know it!! Try to relax, take a warm bath. This may help some. Good Luck!!

I know how you are feeling. Same thing happened to me. The only thing I can tell you, is that the baby is getting stronger by the day. Have you tried all the "ways" to get the baby to come? Long walks? Sex? She will come and she will be beautiful!!

is this your first? most time they come later not sooner!
your baby will come when she wants too. don't worry though i'm sure your doctor won't let you go more than 2 weeks past your due date, so just take the time to relax and have "me time" before its all gone!
