Yes, it's very common to get cramps in pregnancy ranging from mild to moderately painful. Your uterus is stretching and growing and it causes some discomfort. I've gotten cramps in all three of my pregnancies. You would only need to worry if you are having very sharp pains and it is accompanied by bleeding.

Just put your feet up and have a cold drink and relax and it should subside.

All the best to you and baby!

With my second pregnancy I started to have mild cramps at 27 weeks. I described them as very mild menstrual cramps to my OB and she had me come in for an exam just to be safe. It ended up that I was in labor (already dilated to a 6) and had to have an emergency C-section (the baby was breech) that same day. I never even felt a single contraction!

This is not meant to frighten you. Cramping during pregnancy is common with many women. Stay in tune with your body and if you ever feel nervous about something that's happening just call your OB. It's always better to err on the side of caution.

I shudder to think what may have happened if I had waited even one more day to call my OB. I didn't want to come across as paranoid, but I knew something wasn't right. Because I called the Dr. and got to the hospital early enough my baby is now a happy, healthy 3 month old!

Of course, if you ever have cramping and/or bleeding call your OB immediately!

Best of luck to you. I'm sure everything will be fine. Just listen to your body!

With my first pregnancy I got cramps at around 3-6 wks.
With this pregnancy if I get constipated I get cramps until I'm able to go poop. Both of these types of cramps would feel like a period cramp.

May be ligament pains, common during any trimester but most common in the second. They come from a stretching uterus, standing too long, walking too much, etc. I have the same type of pain. When you get up or cough, etc. be sure to hold your belly for comfort. Don't move as fast as you used to and be careful with sudden waist or abdominal movements. If this is your first pain, call the doctor for a confirmation, after that you will know what to expect. Rest with your feet up for awhile. They may go away or the may continue. If they hurt too bad - call the doc, but my guess is its ligament pains.

I might need to say that this isn't a well signal, I used to be not too long ago pregnant and skilled particularly unhealthy cramping and while I went to the health practitioner they did an ultrasound and mentioned that the youngster had quit setting up and that I used to be going to absolutely miscarry which I did, however to be certain simply ask your health practitioner whilst you pass in the next day to come, and so they must be in a position to inform you extra. In the interim you must drink lots of water and keep off your toes, this used to be the recommendation the medical professionals gave me. Good Luck!

All normal, I'm 12 weeks and still get them, after 12 weeks you're essentially in the clear of miscariage. Dont stress about every little pain, I did the same thing but its normal, it could be ligaments stretching or a number of things, dont worry about it, your more then likely fine! Best wishes and congrats!

you are experiencing round ligment pain where your uterus, hips, pelvis are begining to stretch and spread for the baby to grow..totally normal! don't stress...that will do more harm to the baby than these cramps will! if you are bleeding or have nausea, vomiting or a fever with the pains then you need to contact your dr...if they are just dull aches, no problem but you should talk to your dr at your next appoinment so they can explain what is going on and reassure you!
