Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 June 2007

i am 29weeks+ after my appointment 2day with the midwife and her student i feel rather tender and more sore they did feel about and he is head down but stil able 2 move freely and i was advised 2 see a physio due 2 my lower joints being really sore
but i feel something may be wrong i had felt the same last time when i was checkedcould it be that his position is makin me feel sore and tender and with the midwifes feelin my stomach and all is makes it worse? it only happens after the apt also i felt his heartbeat wasnt as strong as last time.... could that suggest that something is indead wrong even tho the midwifes were okay with it

I will tell you that the radiologist did not say that it was a boy or a girl. Nor twins, triplets or anything like that. So what did he say?

My daughter swears there is something in this house. We've only lived here a month. I thought it was just going to take time for her to get used too. But that is defiently not the case. She comes and gets in our bed and i make her get back in hers but then shell come back and hide and sleep under our bed. This morning i found her sleeping in the bathroom floor with the light on and the door locked. She said something "black" was calling her name and telling her to come out. I admit ive heard some weird stuff and went to check it out and found nothing. What should i do for her?

I have a day care in my home and one of the families I work with removed their child from my care to enroll her in the private school they had been on the waiting list for. Yay, good for them. The child was a terror, loved her, but a complete terror. And the mother was completely inconsiderate and pushed my policies to the absolute limit, especially the health policy. She was always bringing her child when she was sick, even to the point of everyone in the day care, including myself, getting the flu. I called her yesterday to see how the new school was going and she said they had been home sick 3 days within the last two weeks. It was all I could do not to laugh and tell her "What goes around, comes around". Isn't it great?! I'm sorry the child has been sick, but I feel like this mom as gotten what she deserves. So let's hear 'em, what are some good "what goes around, comes around"s that you just laughed out loud about!?! Have fun with this!

My fiancee is 3 weeks late on her period, and she took a pregnancy test last week, and it was negative, and then she took one today and it was negative. what is the deal here? We are not trying to have a baby so I figure that it is perhaps because she was extremely stressed out from work, and i've been working her out and making her diet a lot. Any ideas???

I've been off the shot for about 18 months now and I still dont get periods (only had a hand full). I dont use protection with my husband and dont get pregnant. I am tierd of taking PG tests and wondering. Any one else have this problem? Is something wrong with me?

Could I keep half a can of beef broth in the can and in the fridge? Is it safe to do and how long will it stay good? Can I leave other opened cans in the fridge like wet cat food? Or is it best to take it out and store leftovers in another container?
I just wanna make sure it's safe.

Everywhere we go she is always asking people for things. Whether it be money for snacks, some of their snacks, or a toy that they have. I have tried to drill it into her that it is rude and unacceptable. Some of the people dont help because they tell her how cute she is and of course she can have some. Everytime my son has a baseball game we go through the rules of not asking. If someone offers it is one thing, but it is rude to constantly ask, especialy for money when they are giving their own children some. Has anyone been through this and how to I get over being so embarrased? How do I get her to stop?

To me (and other people I've told), it seems early to be having an ultrasound! I'm probably only maybe...6-8 weeks pregnant, and not starting to show at all yet. The doctor wants to get me in for an ultrasound just a couple days after I initially came in and had the pregnancy test, "to see how far along" I am or whatever, but I just wonder, at this stage, what will they really be able to see, or what can they tell - wouldn't anything be so tiny at this point!?

Anyway, guess I just want to hear others' experiences with something like this..! lol
