you people on this answers thing make tooo big of a deal about implantation bleeding i dont know why because hardly any women even get it!!!! i have had 3 pregnancies and NEVER spotted and nobody i know has had it either! the only way you will know if you are pregnant is if you MISS a period and take a test!!!!!! do NOT rely on implatation spotting i am sooo sick of hearing about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this question is going to get some really pissy answers, but why would anyone ask a question about bleeding during pregnancy or some strange symptoms in their children, etc?This is primarily aimed at the pregnancy and parenting forms. I am an RN and I get blown away by all the misinformation out there. Sometimes I wonder if the questions are jokes. Someone asked if their water had "broke" the other day. Instead of calling her OB, she was asking total strangers that aren't physicians for advice. It just kind of makes me wonder what people are thinking. I can understand looking for answers from people who have been there. But, not on legitimate medical questions that are better addressed by your doctor. None of us can tell if you are in labor by reading your question. Go to the hospital and get your cervix checked there. Does anyone else want to grab these people and shake them ? Some of the answers are horribly inaccurate and unsafe. Let me have it.

i am dying! my pants are too tight and i can't get comfortable in my desk chair! standing hurts my back, this is bad! not too mention heartburn and having trouble breathing cause my lungs are squished. i'm 36.3 weeks. thank god i am only working two more weeks!

I almost have to make myself eat because I am not hungry for anything. I also have been really feeling really sick to my stomach and having to go to the bathroom (number 2) all the time. My heart burn is so bad especially at night and I feel like I eat more tums and water than anything. Is anyone else feeling me here?

Our son turned 2 in February and is now showing interest in the potty. The problem I am having is we can catch the poop...but he always pees in his underwear. I know he is uncomfortable in his diaper and likes the unders but he has not peed on the pot even one time....help!

I know just clean it. But as a teen, cleaning is the most boring thing ever! My mom has been telling me for 2 weeks to clean it. This time I actually have to do it though. I start cleaning, but then I start making excuses: eating, I need to go get something downstairs, I need to check somthing on the computer, ect. I am trying to find a easy, fun way to clean my room. When I was little, I couldn't stand my room being a mess, but now... it is not the same case.
Please don't tell me to just clean my room. Please give me advise to make it go quicker or be fun.
(I also have to clean my closet too.)

Kristy Reynolds & her husband are parents to a beautiful little baby boy named Kaleb. He is 6 months & 3 days old. A couple weeks ago Kristy picked Kaleb up from home care & noticed something was wrong. She immediately took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Shaken Baby Syndrome. He now has meningitis in response the the surgeries on his brain, his body can't regulate his temperature, his heart rate drops every time he is moved, & he has seizures. He is also blind. His sitter shook him so hard that he is in a coma, had to have spinal fluid drained from his brain, & doctors think that if he lives he will be a vegetable for the rest of his life. Brain scans show that his brain tissue is dying & his brain is shrinking. Kristy & her husband refuse this diagnosis & pray for their little boy. I'm asking you to join them in this prayer for Kaleb.

Me and my husband are trying to conceive, I was on birth control for about 6 months and i stopped taking them on may 8 a week and half before i was going to finish my pack on may 12 i got my period 3 days early before i was supposed to start. I went to the web md page and i said i was suposse to ovulate between may 23 and may 25 i did what i was suppose to except i did not take my btt but i did check my cervical mucous, on friday june 1st i think i started my period one week early, which is unusual for me i always have between a 27-28 day cycle, could i be pregnant and still have my period . I also took blood test friday june 1 8 dpo

my son is 9 and never gets invited to other kids b-day parties. During parent/teacher conference times, his teachers have always said that he is very likable and has lots of friends.... never alone at recess time or at lunch table. He has yet to get invited to one party this year. For his birthdays, he always flies to visit his father in California so HE never gets to have a party to invite other kids to (his choice to fly). Could this be why?

After three months without my period I told my mom, and we went to the doctors and they sadi I wasnt pregnant, with a urine test, and before that I took three home pregnancy tests that said I wasnt pregnant, but know its been four months, and I still havent had my period , and my friends keep saying my stomach looks like I am pregnant, and then I got worried, that what if the doctor made a mistake. I learned yesterday that my ex-husband left my 8 year old at home alone with my 6 year old and his 3 year old (from another marriage). California has no specific laws about how old a child must be to be left alone, so I am unsure what to do. My 8 year old is not mature enough to handle this (She had to call him to ask how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich). I am very concerned, as two years ago, he and his new wife left my 6yo (at the time she was 4) alone in the house while they were outside. She was playing on a stool and fell and broke her arm.
Do you think that this is grounds to assume or claim general neglect? Bad enough my eight year old was left alone, but what of the 6 yo and the 3 yo? What if something happened? She can't even make a pb&j....

A friend of mine is totally convinced that plan B is the same as an abortion. Which I dont understand at all!! Plan B KEEPS you from getting pregnant in the first place. How can NOT getting pregnant be an abortion. If that were the case, wouldnt using any form of birth control be an "Abortion" ? Let me know what you think!
