Absolutely.

And I wouldn't respect any adult who wouldn't.

If it were spanking on the bottom then no. But if they were doing an all out beating then yes!

I was spanked with a belt as a kid, it really wasn't that bad. Being taken away from my parents would have been way more traumatizing.
Use your better judgment, if they are really in danger then tell someone, if not and they are just being punished by a few smacks on the bottom, no need to get involved.

Are we talking chasing them around and beating the crud out of them or the kids straight up did something wrong and got a few whaps from it? Big difference between a beating and a spanking, belt or not belt.

I wouldn't mind a spank or a smaller discipline on a child, but if the discipline is getting out of hand, then definetely YES!!! I wouldn't even think it twice. A child should not have to endure physical mistreatment by anyone and the child may be at risk of even greater abuse. Please do call the cops if you see it. It is cruel and gruesome to watch innocent children being abused and treated with violence. Anyone who sees something horrible as this and doesn't do anything about the situation should be ashamed.

If it was all out beating yes as well as CPS. If it was just 1 or 2 light swats on the butt no. I would never hit my child especially with a belt, but its the parents decision on how to discipline their child. And 1 or 2 light swats on the bottom isnt going to hurt them or leave them with emotional or physical scars.

Of course! I don't have a problem with spanking a child, open handed and NOT hard enough to bruise/injure. Beating a child with a belt is a different matter...it's child abuse and illegal and anyone who does that needs to be turned in.

I never understood why parents would need to use anything other than their hand to spank a child. Especially a child under the age of 10. Why would you ever need anymore force than your hand on a small child? And if they are over the age of 10, you really shouldn't be hitting them unless they are trying to hit you or someone else. Then you can beat the hell out of them.

I definitely would. There is no reason why a parent has to rely on physical abuse to discipline a child. It only shows, (to me anyway) that the parent has a lot of built up anger and is taking it out on the children.
they really need to get help soon before they hurt those kids really bad.

If it is 1-2 slaps on the rear, no.
You do not apply force to the head or back with the belt.

Using a "weapon" on ANYONE is a criminal offence. Think about it ... if your child is misbehaving or mouthing off and you give him/her a smack on the butt with your hand ... I consider that to be parental discipline. But when you go off and look for a weapon like a leather strap or a stick or cane ... that is deliberate, premeditated, sick intention to inflict the most pain possible. THAT'S abuse, NOT discipline.

If you hate you child so badly that you need to make that child suffer painfully, then the one who should be beaten is YOU. (I don't mean YOU personally)

Call the cops and rescue those children from uncontrolled rage! You'll be a hero. Absolutely!!!!

Yes! I sure would. Abusing a child infront of my eyes would be an immediate phone call to the cops. Terribly sad for those kids. You should call, what if one of those kids was you being beaten?
