She's not going to find out ahead of time whether it's a boy or a girl, so a help in both would be great. I told her that I was asking this question on this cite, and that I'd print out the pages of your guys' answers and give it to her, so please keep them realistic and PG. Thanks a bunch guys!

I am pregnant with my second child ( it's a boy!) and I was wondering if anyone knew what it would take to become a Mary Kay consultant? I have gone to some of the meetings before, and I'm interested in it. Also, I was wonding if anyone has done it, if you really do make money doing it? Or if it would be a waste of my time? I would love to be able to choose the hours I work and still have time with my kids, but lets face it. Mamma needs to bring home some money too :) So anyone with any info would be a big help? Also, if you know of any other companies that are good I would like to learn about them too, like Avon, or the "sleep over" parties would be fun. Which do you think would be better? Sorry so many questions, I'm just really curious. Thanks! you can contact me at skritz666@yahoo.com if you have real info that will help, no spam e-mails though please!

I think yes and no, and here's why.

Love is patient.
Love is kind.
It does not brag.
It is not proud.
It is not rude.
It does not look out for its own interest.
It does not keep track of wrongs.
Love is not happy with evil.
But it is full of joy when the truth is spoken.
It always protects.
It always trusts.

It never gives up.
Love never fails.

2)
Do unto others as you would have done to YOU.

3)
A parent will make mistakes, as you~ the child will. I will not let my pride deny my mistakes.

4)
You will NOT hide your mistakes, because you NEED NOT FEAR ME.

5) WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY to PROTECT against the things I can NOT protect you FROM.

Is it normal to feel like your memory is not as good after you have a baby? I just find I easily forget things, I can have a conversation and a few seconds later forget what I was talking about, is this normal?

Unless you are an OBGYN or some sort of expert on pregnancy, what intrigues you to answer these types of questions? I'm not saying that it's wrong, but I guess I'm just curious to know why you even look in this section?

My baby is two weeks old. I wasn't able to nurse him, so I pump my milk and feed him from the bottle. Just couple days ago, I had a LOT of milk. I was able to get 4 oz. from each breast every three hours and I was leaking a lot between that. Yesterday I noticed I could hardly get 3 oz. and today it is not even 2 oz. What is happening, is my milk drying up? Is there anything I can do to increase it again? Can it be happening because I don't get more calories than I used to?

My daughter is 7 months old and has been scooting around the house backwards. How can I help go forward? She is getting so frustrated. She has the up on hands and knees thing down. She moves her legs and can even go into a siting position from there, she just can not move forward. We have tried to show her but she is very independant even for a 7 month old and gets very upset. We have put toys down to incurage her. And my 7 year old has been crawling around the house to try to show her. Any ideas? I know she will do it when she does it but she wants too sooooooo badly

I heard on the radio the other day that two women were arrested and put in jail because their kids missed too many days of school. I found this ludicrous! I mean what are the kids going to do while their Mom is in jail? Who is really being punished? Also, were there ligitimate reasons why the kids missed school? And what about the father? Do we just pick on the Mother and forget about the Dad? Is the Mother always the one to blame? What if the Mother works? I guess there are allot of things I am still wondering about. I just think it is ridiculous, unless the parents were deliberately telling their kids not to go to school. I am just curiously as to what others think on this topic.

My daughter is 5 weeks old and doing a weird sleeping thing. One day she'll sleep really good..wake up just to eat, have half hour play time, go back to sleep...next day she'll stay up ALL day..till I finally have enough at night and lie down with her. I've tried car rides (she hates them) I've tried the sucky, going for a walk..everything I can think of. She's been doing this for 3 weeks now, and is very tired. I know babies don't have a routine at this age, but this is a bit much. She also has a swing, and that doesnt help much. Anyone else go through something like this?
