My daugther rolled from stomach to back at 3 months, just once, then at 4 months rolled back to stomach and favors that way all the time. She has only rolled stomach to back 3 times. She gets half way over and grabs whatever she can so she don't go all the way over. But it all depends, all babies are different, some learn faster, some slower.

My son rolled over from back to front, during his sleep, at a week shy of 3 months. He did this twice. He has not done it since. He acts like he wants to, but just doesn't. I think around 3-4 months should be the right age, but it just depends on the child.

My son was between 3-4 months, but ALL babies grow and learn things at there own pace. If you are ever worried though you should bring up your concerns at your next pediatrician appt.
