Unless you are an OBGYN or some sort of expert on pregnancy, what intrigues you to answer these types of questions? I'm not saying that it's wrong, but I guess I'm just curious to know why you even look in this section?

Daddies-to-be are understandable, I guess.

The questions in this section appear in listings of questions in the broader categories. That's where we see them. Some of us men have wives or girlfriends, or sisters, or Mums, or aunts, who were pregnant and told us how that experience affects them and feels to them, and we are passing along the information. Does this bother you?

Why do we bother? Men like sex, and we also like having sons and daughters to raise - to show them things, to tell them stories, and to be their heroes. So naturally we're interested in the process by which a woman cooks babies inside her body. That's the attraction of these obstetrics questions for guys who aren't doctors.

They should know about pregnancy stuff since some of the men on here are daddys and know what their wifes or girlfriends went through while pregnant.

I think its great that men answer the questions as well, I mean they never experienced it first hand, but they definitly participated in it when their wife, girlfriend, whatever was going through it. Plus some men have great answers, and its just opinions that are given here, I mean its not like the answers are set in stone and your to go by them, so why can't they give their opinions, they may be good ones.

Because every once in awhile I know the answer. When I do I'm not generally looking in the section but merely looking at what's been recently posted.

Now a question for you. If it's the right answer what difference does it make whether it comes fom a male or female?

I agree, if men are going to answer, then they should be serious about it. Woman are generally asking because they are concerned about something or need support or a CORRECT answer.

For guys that answer correctly, thank you! For guys like the one I read the other day who answered a question about possible miscarriage by saying 'If you had a previous MC, then you probably did something to end this one too...it's usually the mother's fault!' You guys are nothing but ar$?holes and totally lacking in education on the subject.

Good question! and again, thanks to the supportive, educated males.

Because usually I know what I'm talking about. It's just the same as women answering questions in men's health.

Some of the men on here are really rude and give advice when they have no idea what they're talking about. Thanks for asking this question.
