Just wondering when most people feel they should tell grandparents to be when pregnant? Unfortunately I no my inlaws especially will not b happy. I have been married for 6 months and we own our own home and both have good jobs. Wit do ya think?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I just got a call from my doctor's office saying that I have BV and a yeast infection. This is my second time dealing with this during my pregnancy and it's driving me crazy. It's causing intimacy issues in my relationship as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to ward off another bout with either one of these nasty infections? Anyone else gong through the same thing? Thanks!

We are TTC and I cant really notice my Cm, I lnow you can take a cough medicine for so many days to thicken its consistency, which also helps th sperm live longer!> But what brandof cough medicine do i take and when do i start?

if you are pregnant and drink alcohol seeing as the baby is alot smaller and the alcohol crosses into the baby via the cord does the baby get drunk. This isnt a joke.

I realize that being pregnant you tend to be a bit more forgetful. But I am now 39 weeks pregnant and through my entire pregnancy, I was never very good about taking my vitamins. I always kept them by my bed to try and remember but I ALWAYS forgot. No sense in really stressing about it now since I am so close to the end...but should I be worried at all?

We take a snack for seven kids to my middle granddaughter's pre school class several times a month. They ask that it be fairly healthy as in no cakes or cookies. Things like fruit, cheese, crackers, etc. and a drink. The kids are TIRED of Goldfish! Got any inexpensive, healthy, easy ideas that don't positively HAVE to be refrigerated?

I've been researching this topic for what seems (and probablely has been) years. The pill is not effective (on me) and neither is the depo shot. Women who breastfeed cannot be on the patch or the "ring." I've been reading about this new Mirena IUC (not an IUD, this one is called an IUC). I don't want an IUD because the only thing the do is prevent a fertilized egg from attaching (this is no better than the day after pill!). The Mirena website is iffy on whether or not breastfeeding mothers can use it. I'm just wondering if anyone out there is breast feeding and has the Mirena IUC? Or if not, (please only answer if you are/have been on birth control while breast feeding) what kind of birth control method do/did you use? (And don't tell me you can't get pregnant while breastfeeding, I'm currently carrying a child concieved while I was breastfeeding) I intend to discuss this with my OB/GYN. But it's a bit early to bring it up and I'm just looking into possibilities right now.

I have a 3 1/2 month old baby boy, and I was thinking about trying to give him some rice cereal after he turns 4 months. I have read articles that says this is ok, but then other articles say no way. Any opinions out there?

short version: I have a son whos 8. that pregnancy was complicated. I've had 2 bad uti 1 in Nov. and 1 Jan. both months had missed period. was on the pill for 7 1/2 yrs. period not so normal since but close. have been "trying" for 5mo. only the past few weeks have had dizziness,spotting,(am ovulating) back ache (only in the morning, once I get moving its fine) extra tired. I do have a high stress level, per blood test, all sugar liver kidney etc. is fine! Neg preg. test last week. who knows sometjing!? thanks for inquires.

my doctor said it was about time to start counting the baby's kicks. Exactly what did he mean...count every single kick during the day or just how many separate times during the day? Help!!!!! I really need truthful and faithful answers especailly from those who have had babies, here is my dilema; I have been having this itch of and on, I had yeat infection in the past, but this time around it's continous itching to the point that i feel like am going to poke my finger inside to itch it, then when i use the bathroom may be few mins later, i feeling buring pains; secondly my period started on Jan 8th, and i ahve trying to get pregnant, so we had sex after i was done with my period, but this past Mon. i started feeling dizzy, nauseous (then it goes back), pinching pain in my tummy, eating/sleeping alot,(which was the only sign i had during the first pregnancy i had, b/4 losingi t) as well feeling sleepy/tired during the day; can you please put your 2 cents in to help me? I will be visiting my ob/gyn doc tomorrow, and she was she says. Thanks !

I am 19 yrs old and am 4 months pregnant. I live on my own with my boyfriend. I am working full time and going to school full time. I am a Jounior in college and plan on graduating asap. The problem is that at my current job I am a temp and no paid maternity leave will be given. I want to be able to stay at home with my baby while my bf works and then go to night classes. However we cannot afford this, and we wouldn't be able to afford proper day care either. What can I do?! I just want to be a good mother before anything else.

I am 24 weeks along with my 4th baby. Up until a few days ago I could feel her move at certain times and at least 4-5 times a day for about 30 minutes a time. Now for the past 2 or 3 days I have only felt her move maybe 1-2 times in all the days. Now I know I need to call my doctor but I don't want to look like a paranoid mom. I have done the none stress test with the other kids for this and they were always fine. What are the chances this one isnt? Should I call the doctor? What would you do? Thanks in advance!
