Newborn weighs 14lbs
A woman has given birth to a baby weighing nearly 14lbs.
Sara Griffin form Wallasey, Merseyside says after two weeks baby Joe wears clothes meant for a six month old reports the Mirror.
Sara says she had cravings for fish when she was pregnant. She said: "I had a craving for cockles, mussels - any kind of fish. I think that's why he is so big."
Britain's heaviest baby was Guy Warrick, born in Cumbria in 1992. He weighed 15lb 8oz.

Actually the Guinness Book of World Records says the heaviest baby ever was born to Anna Bates of Canada in 1879.
It weighed 23.12lb (10.8kg) and died 11 hours after birth.
The largest healthy baby was born in 2005 in Brazil weighing 17lb (8kg) - twice the size of an average newborn.

I saw it on the news but thought they said that the biggest baby ever born was in the 1950's and the baby was 22 lbs. Either way, 14 lbs is BIG!

well actually the biggest baby ever born was around 22 lbs, but yes, its still a big baby, but it doesnt matter because if your child is going to be that big you are required a c-section, so, i guess he will just be moved up into the 3-6 month clothing catagory thats it.

Ha ha yeah I saw that he's massive! there's a video on yahoo news where they compare him to a normal new born - he's approx. twice the size and wear a 6 months old nappies (dipers if you're american!)
I feel sorry for his mum though - that must've hurt, especially as mexicans tend to be quite small!
