Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 February 2007

Can someone give me good advise. I have been ttc for about 8months with no luck. Most of these months I have successfully tracked my LH with OPK's and ovulated on the 17th day of my 31 day cycle. However this month I started my period a couple of days early so I have taken OPK's from the 24th of this month (just to be safe)with a view to Ovulation day being today the 1st of Feb, today. (my 17th day) For some reason I still have not detected my LH Surge. I havent missed it have I. Have had intercourse for past two days and will continue for next 4 or 5 or so. Does this mean I am not ovulating. It is such a stress. Not sure where I am.

What does it mean when a boy gives you a free drink (on the house) and they are really not supports to do that, they did to me instead and no one else in my family. Because my sister have ask for one and she said it three times and the boy have just not pay attention her, but no me!!! He was smiling real big and he was very happy also. So please tell me what it means! It has happen 8 months ago.

Please say nice things, not rode remarks! Thank you!!!

The boy has also fallen into so bowls and felled on the ground too. I try not to laugh but my sister and the other girl who works there was laughing!!

I lost my mother early in life, before I was a teenager. My father works hard but he had never spent time with me to tell me what to do with high school issues, when I was at that age. Eventually when I did grow up, I had to figure out everything myself and he does not talk or spend much time. He tends to be a quiet person so maybe that's the reason.
But he has failed me in one big area and left me in financial ruins because he did not keep up on his word.
In my life till now, my father had simply been someone who would hand out the money when I needed it but never finding out about any emotional needs I might have or other issues. He also told me he actually never wanted kids, it was my deceased mother's decision and he simply went along since he wanted to be with her.
After she left, he was more quiet than before. When she had been around there was still some family outings, talking etc.

My baby is only 5 months old and she's been breastfeeding up until now. Less than once a month, a family member will give her a bottle of breastmilk and with a lot of fussing she will FINALLY take it. So she knows how to drink out of a bottle, she just refuses not to. In about a month or so, I will be rejoining the Army and my husband will be the one staying home with my daughter. I've been trying to ween her onto the bottle, but it hasn't been working. I am still giving her breast milk, the only change is that it's in a bottle instead of the breast. She would rather fuss and cry then drink out of a bottle.

Does anyone have any advice on how to ween her???

My husband and I have been ttc for a few months. Last month, we thought we had, but I had a very light period (not normal for me). I've been off of BC for 2 years, so my cycle is pretty normal. My mom had a light period for the first 2 months of her pregnancy with me.

The last few weeks (about 3 weeks straight now) starting before my last period, I've felt fat and full all day, barely able to eat. Nausea comes and goes, even indigestion (I have only thrown up about 5 times in my whole life). I've somehow managed to gain only one pound, yet my stomach seems fatter.
Also weird since I'm usually ALWAYS cold, I've been very warm, especially at night.
IYO ~ could it be pregnancy or just DESIRE for pregnancy? Anyone had these symptoms before?

Hi i went ot my doctors like a week ago and they told me i was going to having a baby. Then i went to the doctors today because i was having some bledding and they gave me a HCG test and i have to have another one in 48 hours. Does anyone know why they are giving me HCG test. i was wondering from your experiance.. what was better.. and how long did it take to heal..?
and what kind of things did u do to help the healing prosess move faster.. ?
also after having a baby i heard that u bleed for aweek or to maybe more.. what kind of things did u do for that?
did it hurt when u peed after having a baby.. i mean having stiches and all..dosent it burn..? if so.. what did u do for that..

its my first pregnancy and im 19.. i want to be the best mom i can be.. and i want to know all these important things..
i dont live in america any more..and im living in egypt.. i feel like the doctors arent quite the same.. and maybe dont have asmuch knowlage as the american ones do..

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over a year on our own. I miscarried a year and a half ago and my family dr. said it was fine to try again. So far we have had no luck. my husband has a son from a previous marriage and i from a previous relationship. so we know that we are able to have kids. my daughter is 9 and his son is 4. I would like to know what goes one when you talk to your dr. about not being able to conceive i'm afraid to go to the dr and find out that i can't conceive. my husband and i dont have a lot of money to spend on all kinds of treatments. so any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys so i had sex with my boyfriend a week ago and while on the deed i started to bleed( bright red) enough too use i tampon, the next morning nothing but there was blood on the tampon. it was about 11 days before my period i am due in 4-5 days. Anyways we were not having rought sex at all and this never happen before.I do go for checkup there is nothing wrong and i have one in 3 weeks again with my doctor. We do have unprotected sex all the time. I am on the pill and never skip or take it late. I feel really bloated and have been eating more lately feels like i have to eat every 30 min and the sides of my breast are a little sore not alot, i also had mild pulling like cramping, but its gone. Also my eye are kinda watery kinda burning sensation now and then, Could i be pregnant? is it possible? Other than that i feel OK.

I had my period on JAn 7th and the clearblue fertility monitor said I would ovulate on the 18th or 19th of Jan so I took an early pregnancy test today and it was negative. Is it too soon to test? My periods are ususally pretty regular. In dec I got my period on the 4th. When should I test again?

I buy Similac Alimentum and in Canada it only comes in a 4 pack of 8oz ready to feed tins,I want to open 3 or 4 tins and pour them into a juice type container for easier access as apposed to opening a new tin every few hours.I just bought a 2 quart Rubbermaid container last night to use but just wanted to get some opinions on wether or not the formula would be good in there,it may only be in there for about 12 hours and has a good cap with a good seal on it.

My daughter's 13th birthday was yesterday all the pipes busted in our bathroom a few weeks ago and it costs alot of money to be fixed for this reason I told her that her birthday party and presents would have to go on hold for 3 days when my husband gets paid. All day yesterday she said I ruined her birthday she hated her birthday kept bringing up the fact I didn't get her anything just really making me feel like a low life I felt bad anyway but just her saying things to me like this made me cry for the whole night it's not that I was purposely broke I have plans to make it up this weekend why would she treat me this way I've always been there what hurts is her father is always in and out of prison I say he's only seen her on 2 birthdays and she never says anything to him ever why do I have to be treated like crap aomeone who has never let her down and has always been there shouldn't I get a break for trying to keep our house livable and how would anyone handle this if they were me

I don't have time to see the doctor as I am working full time and self employed and moving house and my ex has run away so he's of no support. Anyway is this just a temporary stress thing for moving house and sorting out mortgages, lawyers, flooring and so on, or is this something to be genuinely concerned about. Running off to the doctor at a nose bleed seems a bit unneccessary. Lets face it the NHS need their appointments for people dying or terminally ill not nose bleeds.
