My husband and I have been ttc for a few months. Last month, we thought we had, but I had a very light period (not normal for me). I've been off of BC for 2 years, so my cycle is pretty normal. My mom had a light period for the first 2 months of her pregnancy with me.
The last few weeks (about 3 weeks straight now) starting before my last period, I've felt fat and full all day, barely able to eat. Nausea comes and goes, even indigestion (I have only thrown up about 5 times in my whole life). I've somehow managed to gain only one pound, yet my stomach seems fatter.
Also weird since I'm usually ALWAYS cold, I've been very warm, especially at night.
IYO ~ could it be pregnancy or just DESIRE for pregnancy? Anyone had these symptoms before?

You don't typically gain much weight in the first few weeks of pregnancy, so feeling fatter or gaining weight wouldn't be a sign of pregnancy at this stage. However, nausea is definitely a sign of pregnancy. For both of my pregnancies, I had nausea, but I don't think I had any hot flashes early on. You absolutely COULD be pregnant, and it wouldn't hurt to take a test, even if it is before your next period is due. I just took a pregnancy test not long ago, and I noticed in the directions that you can take it several days before your period is due, but the accuracy is just not as high. It certainly couldn't hurt, right? And yes, you could also be bringing on symptoms if you want so badly to get pregnant. Ever hear of a hysterical pregnancy? You could do some research on that, I don't know much about it. I do know though that you can bring on symptoms of pregnancy psychologically. Good luck to you!!

You could very possible be pregnant. Have you tried testing? Take a first response. You may however have a more serious condition causing the "pregnancy" symptoms.. Take the test and if it comes back - then call the doctor and make an appointment.

I was freezing all the time the first few weeks of my pregnancy! Something having to do with the hormones I guess. I'm surprised you haven't used a pregnancy test!?
