I had my period on JAn 7th and the clearblue fertility monitor said I would ovulate on the 18th or 19th of Jan so I took an early pregnancy test today and it was negative. Is it too soon to test? My periods are ususally pretty regular. In dec I got my period on the 4th. When should I test again?

So you are either 13-14 days past ovulation. A pregnancy test is about 98% accurate at this time. Most likely your period is on its way but don't give up hope til it comes!

You should probably test again Saturday morning. FIRST thing in the morning. That's the best time for the test to pick up the pregnancy hormone.

I did the same thing this morning too. I should've waited later, but I couldn't help it, and I ended up with a negative result. Makes for a sucky day. I'm gonna try again Saturday, but if it's negative then, then I guess hubby and I shall try again this month!!!

But you should buy like a two pack or something, so you can take it when you get all edgy and anxious, and take the next one a day after your missed period.

If that won't give you the result you want, you can always schedule an appointment with your Dr. to take a blood test, I hear those never lie :-)

I hope this helped you some.
