Does my belly make me look that much cuter? What have people been saying to you guys who are 7+ months pregnant? Not that I mind. It just seems so cliche.

That oil thing is overrated too. I've always had oily skin, pimples and all that. My skin is the same.

Maybe to people around you, they see the happiness you have. The "inner glow" maybe. People tell me i have a glow too, im 32 weeks. I think its just the excitment over the baby, not really a visable thing on the outside...just the kind of signals you send out while pregnant. Maybe people just think you seem happier, or whatever, and call it "the glow"

Well, from my point of view, and I am male, I have always noticed that a lady that is pregnant does actually have a "glow" about them that a non-pregnant woman does not have. It is an aura that all women develop when they become pregnant, as they are creating a new life and the spirit guides of that person are channelling much more energy to, and through, the woman to help her in developing a healthy child. Sorry for the 'spiritual" sounding answer, but this is how I have always been able to tell when a lady is pregnant, and most times before even she has become aware of it herself. Most people can see this "glow" but don't even realize that this is what they are seeing when they say "you are glowing with radiance"--it is true, at least from my point of view. May I also congratulate you on your pregnancy!!

It may not be as cliche as you think. During pregnancy, as you know, you go through a lot of hormonal changes. For some women, it's a nightmare - acne they've never had before, "pregnacy rash", etc. But for others, their skin looks better during pregnancy than any other time in their life due to the hormones. You may just be too tired to notice what everyone else sees!

What they mean and my friends and family told me the same thing, is that when you are pregnant you have a glow about you. It is a radiance that comes from the skin that just seems to come out when you are pregnant. It is a beautiful thing and having children is a blessing. Congrat's on the soon to be new arrival.

The "glowing" thing is your body is producing oils basically and gives your face the "glowing" look. And keep in mind some people really dont know what to say and to avoid saying "You haven't had that baby yet!?!" which upsets some pregnant mommies they just say "You are glowing!". People get nervous and don't want to say the wrong thing. GOOD LUCK & CONGRATS!

You never feel as good as people say you look. But my understanding about the "glow" is that your body is now carrying 50% more blood than it normally does - because of the baby and placenta - and because of that, your face appears more flushed and natural (in a good way). It kinda makes sense, but I know how you feel. I was not happy about the way I looked either, but that's just a matter of perception. Most people willl say you look great. Enjoy it! For the first few weeks after the baby is born, you'll feel like you look worse than before! ;)

Whether u notice it or not,,,during pregnancy others will notice that pregnancy glow to your skin due to better blood circulation during pregnancy...acne and oily skin doesnt matter,u may still have that special glow to your skin...its just something others can see,usually not the mother....good luck!

I am 8 and a half months pregnant and everyone keeps telling me that I am "all baby" and that i look great....yea right!! I feel like a cow and do not feel i have any type of glow lol all nice comments but i dont feel too great about myself lol

People probley say that you are "glowing" because they think it helps you feel more confident & such! Like if your having a mood swing & you don't think you look as good as you used to then they say it to make you feel better! ~*Congratulation!!!!!~ <3 = )

I think many pregnant women do look better because they are taking better care of themselves by getting more rest, cutting out drinking and smoking, and eating better. Consequently, their complexion , hair, etc. actually looks brighter.
