I know in my heart as a mother this is happening. She not even two years old and has large bruises on her butt that I know could not be from falling. Her mother is known to have a temper and to spank her too hard, and her boyfriend is just as bad and worse with his temper and discpline.
But, what if I call it in and mom says her child fell?

I am due in March, and need insurance for my baby. I am on my fathers insurance. We were going to put the baby on my boyfriends insurance, but his company won't give it to him till about a month after she's already born. How do I get insurance for my daughter. I don't want to have to go through the government. Is there another way to get it?

What is going on. I am sooo excited about this baby. Is it normal to be this excited I mean I am thinkin about names and stuff.; What if something goes wrong cuz I am too excited. I just cant believe I am preg. I mean it took 4 years. 4 long years. 4 stressful years. I just cant wait. I know I got a long time I am soo inpatient. My first ultrasound is Monday the 29th. I dont exactly know what for but I guess we will see. Once again this is my first baby and I want to do everthing right. Please help me. Let me know if all this is normal. Thanks in advance

Dont think I am aweful, the docter says I have to abort due to high-risk health problems I have, and also because of mental problems or death for the baby. What can females who have ahd this tell me about it? does it hurt a lot? how long is the recovery?

i was talkin to a friend the other day an she had 2 C-Sections (not by choice) an she told me that you have a choice now if you dont want to have the baby natural that you can tell the doctor that you want a C-section.. Does anyone know if that is true..

my baby boy is 9 months 3 weeks and he has the most unusual coloured eyes. they have been this colour for about 3 months but i've never seen an adult with the same colour eys and I was wondering if they will change or if he will get to keep them!

I have a 1 yr old daughter she is rather i guess you could call it curious she gets into trouble alot but i don't think she really knows that she is doing something wrong. when she is doing something bad or wrong i tell her no and she stops if she continues to do it i tell her no louder than if she still does it i smack her hand and tell her no; that usually stops her. We were in wal*mart the other day and she kept throwing stuff out of the cart i had told her no and to stop several times so she did it again and i smacked her hand and she started throwing a tantrum. A women who had 4 kids came up to me and told me that i was abusing my daughter i looked at her and asked her if she had kids and she said "i have 4" i asked her where her kids where and she said they were in the store somewhere. I told her to go find her kids and stop telling me how to raise mine. she went and called social services on me telling them i was an unfit mother. Her kids were dirty and barefoot and i'm unfit?

She used to be an excellent eater and seemed to enjoy food a lot, then this all changed about a month ago, she would spit out food and not show any interest in it. I know that some of her bigger teeth were coming in, but they look okay now......

I am trying to decide which bottles to use for my 6 week old baby. I am currently using the Playtex Drop-In bottles, but would like to try Vent-Air. Just not sure if the Vent-Air bottles are good for his tummy. He has colic, so I'm scared to switch on him. Any suggestions on which one to use?

My husbands uncle just died and my SIL is insisting that she is taking her kids to the Wake and the funeral. They are 4yrs, 2yrs and a newborn. I have tried to tell her that it is not a place for children, and that the 4yr and 2yr old could be traumatized by seeing their dead great uncle at the wake. What do you think? Am I wrong ?

Does this mean I am pregnant?
Ok, I haven't gotten my period since I stopped breastfeeding about 2 months ago. I finally got the nerve to take a home pregnancy test, but I am not sure. One line came out very, very thin and light pink and the other line came out dark but not complete filled all the way. Like if I didn't pee enough or something. But either way I see two lines. Should I retake or does this mean I am pregnant?

Had a D&C performed on January 5,2007. Was 14 weeks but the baby actually died at 10 weeks. I did not know this becuase I was getting weekly progesterone injections therefore still supporting the pregnancy. Since the D&C, I am still bleeding. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks. I saw my dr. on Tuesday, she examined me and said the cervix was closed and all felt fine and that the bleeding should subside soon. THere are days it is on the lighter side and others a little more heavier. I feel like this is never going to stop. Anyone have anything like this happen to them before? Thanks!

I am going on 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My husband and I have talked a lot about what we would do if there was something wrong with the baby.

Would you abort your baby due to a medical problem?

What about if the baby has down syndrome, is a conjoined twin, is missing limbs, would die at birth, etc?

What is your opinion on this matter?

I am not talking about late term abortions, I am talking about an abortion done fairly early in the pregnancy as soon as a problem is detected.

I was fine up until a couple months ago..things have increasingly gotten more overwhelming at times and the baby's cries stress me out so quickly....she is 5 months old now....the first month was like a dream...I actually don't know how I got through it...I also have a 3 year old and lately I have no patience for him, I don't like him touching me and if the baby's crying I just want him to be quiet and go away....I love my children....and I have seen the doctor a few times and am going for counselling and even low doses of prozac....am I going to make it past this hump or is this what my life is going to be like now????

I've noticed brown patches on my face since my first pregnancy and a few more for this pregnancy. I know this has to be hormonal. They haven't faded, so after I have my son (in 5 weeks) I'm considering having them removed. What is the technique used by a dermatologist to perform this procedure and does anyone know a ball-park figure of how much this procedure costs? Thanks.
