you wont you will just feel the contractions in your back and abdomen. it hurts like hell.........get the drugs.

Unless you're a doctor, you don't and it's not possible for you to feel it yourself! But as it opens you'll probably start to feel more pressure in that area from the baby making its way down.

You can't tell the difference.
What you can feel, though, is when your cervix is dialating (opening). You'll experience cramping when it's opening - as it continues to expand, you'll continue to feel cramping.

You won't know - many women go for weeks partially dialated without knowing it until the doctor tells them.
I wouldn't suggest (as one person did) putting your finger into it, as it may cause infection to the baby. Leave that up to the doctor.

You can get your hubby to feel just make sure his hands are very clean and tell him to be very gentle when sticking his fingers up there. If he can get a finger in there then you are at least 1 cm.

if you fell an opening than its open if you don't it's closed. or go to the doctor and get examined it more than like is closed if your not bleeding.
