Had a D&C performed on January 5,2007. Was 14 weeks but the baby actually died at 10 weeks. I did not know this becuase I was getting weekly progesterone injections therefore still supporting the pregnancy. Since the D&C, I am still bleeding. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks. I saw my dr. on Tuesday, she examined me and said the cervix was closed and all felt fine and that the bleeding should subside soon. THere are days it is on the lighter side and others a little more heavier. I feel like this is never going to stop. Anyone have anything like this happen to them before? Thanks!

I had the exact same experience ( I found out at 13 weeks that the fetus had actually died at 10 weeks). After the D&C, I also experienced bleeding off and on for several weeks. I would listen to your doctor. The bleeding should stop soon. If it hasn't stopped in the next few weeks, I would call your doctor and see what she says. I'm sorry for loss. After my miscarriage I was able to carry three children to term. Good luck!

I had a d&c after a 6 week miscarriage. I bled for quite a while, I want to say 3-4 weeks. I know it may not be "common" but it was okay and I was pregnant 6 months later with a little girl who's 2 now. Best of luck!

I had a d&c...I bled for about a day then it stopped. About 3 days later it started again. I bled heavier at first then it tapered on and off for a little over 2 weeks. I also thought it would never stop but it finally did.
