for those of you that are interested, his eyes are a stunning blue / green / violet. they are simply awesome. i've had so many replies saying different ages I don't know what to think, but lets hope they do stay put!

My kids eyes stayed what they were at about 6months so it sounds like your boy is about right, they may change slightly later on, but I have always heard that 6 months is pretty much normal.

I have no idea where some of these guys get their information from! P C White is correct - your son's eyes are already the colour they will remain. It only takes a matter of weeks, not months or years for the eyes to reach their true colour. If his eyes are an unusual colour then he's a very lucky little boy - congratulations!

Its between 6 months and a year but all three of my children still have the colour they were born with. However the youngest had vivid almost indigo blue eyes at birth but now at 2 they are not quite so vivid but still beautiful.

My girlfriend is an au pair and says that at about 6 months to one year the eye colour changes. So he could just have his eye colour already

My 3 year old's eyes are still changing. they were bright blue when she was born, now they're almost hazel. They might even end up brown. But don't worry about it, he's still beautiful whatever his eye colour!

I think every single child is different!! My nephew's eyes were settled by the time he was about a year or maybe a little less.

It should happen by age 1- but sometimes the color settles in as early as 6 months.
