I am meeting my ex's new girlfriend (of a month and a hlf)this week because they are going on a trip with my three year old daughter (which I didn't really approve of so soon into their relationship but he talked me into allowing it) I want to be respectful and nice so not to start any drama and hurt out child. Should I just say "Hi" and act how you would act if it was a parent of your child's friend you meet before a sleepover or should I ask certain questions or anything?

My ex also my daughter fathers...is M.I.A for the moment. He knows that our daughter calls him everyday generally around the same time. So our daughter went to call him today. And She can't get threw to him. Not just like he didn't answer. She called His cell and there was a message on there that said it was disconnected. But that is werid because him and I share a cell plan...my phone works, anyways my daughter called his girlfriend to see if she knew where he was, and her cell is disconnected also. So then My daughter tried to call Her dads house...and that phone is disconnected as well. My daughter is really upset about this, and is afraid that something happened to her dad. I don't know what to tell her about the situation...she is 5 years old. She keeps telling me "dad left her and is not coming back" What should I do?

We wern't very serious and then i found out i was pregnant and we broke up. he didn't want the baby and pressured me to have an abortion. He wouldn't speak to me when i decided to have the baby and just before he was born told me he never wanted to see the child and would never recognise him as his own. After the baby was born i applied for centrelink and had to then apply for child support. The father opted for a dna test. When these results came back proving he was the father he told his parents that he had a child and came to see him. I am happy for him to spend time with the baby and i know that is the best thing for him. it is hard though because the father works away, and not on a regular schedual. He doesn't feel comfortable with giving him dinner or changing his nappies- although he does love him very much. He has only seen the baby a handful of times over 2 months. He has just told his brother and sister and now wants to take him to his sisters house by himself for half a day.

We went to our pediatrician today and she told us to give our 1-month old an ounce of prune juice every day, mixed with an equal amount of water. I meant to ask her, but how long does it take for him to start passing softer stools and will the prune juice make him gassy?

Ok I am 6 months pregnant and I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. Well when I found out I was pregnant things started to change. Then 3 months into the pregnancy he decides to tell me that he is not IN love with me anymore but he loves me. He tells me that he will be here for the baby and me for what ever we need. I have been the one that has called him the last 3 times and the last time I talked to him I was emotional and was crying (I know wrong) but all I wanted him to do was write his daughter a little letter for a book I got her. And he said he would and then said I'm shopping I'll call you later. I told him dont bother, I'm fine. Well here we are over 3 weeks later and I havent heard from him. Oh he texted me X-mas at 11pm I'll call you tomorr. He has done this before but I called him after 2 weeks and asked for my stuff back and he started crying and said he was sorry for not calling me and he would never do it again. Does he even care for his daughter?

AT BOTH OF THE ULTRASOUNDS IVE HAD SO FAR IT HAS TURNED UP THAT IM NOT AS FAR ALONG AS FIRST THOUGHT.. BUT ALOT OF THINGS ARE HAPPENING BEFORE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO.. BY A COUPLE WEEKS.. I know there is always a chance that you could be pregnant when having sex. But my mom thinks I am crazy for thinking there is even a chance with this one.
I had sex a week or two ago.
I today had my period.28 days after my last one.
and i am 2 days early.
I used a condom.
and he pulled out before he ejaculated.
my period is not as heavy as normal but still not really light.
i told my husband and he thinks there is no way just like my mom.
do you think there is any chance.
or no.
because I really dont feel like buying a test.

I am about to have my first baby in March...the father and I broke up at the beginning of the pregnancy...then got back together..then On New Years..broke up and I moved back home...We just cant seem to get it together..were gonna be friends for our baby's sake..but...I am so afraid that I am gonna be single forever...I am just worried that no guy is ever gonna want me because I already have a baby...Just feeling kinda down in the dumps..can anyone help me feel better? I just dont want to be alone for the rest of my life...and I am truly worried that no guy will want me cuz of me already being a mom...I am 19. My baby boy is only 5 weeks old and he is such a good eater! sometimes I feel that he might benefit (and mommy too) from a cereal bottle at night so he will feel fuller and sleep longer...My husband says that he is way too young for that yet....What do you say?

Because I hear that you can get pregnant if you accidentally skip a pill. So then you should be able to get pregnant fairly quickly. I was only on the pill for like 7 months and it was a low dose birth control. My friend got pregnant that week after going off the pill so I'm just wondering what everyone else's opinions are.

One of my friends is pregnant and she claims her doc told her quitting smoking would put stress on the baby and he told her to continue to smoke. I can't picture a doc ever telling someone to continue to smoke...pregnant or not!

I couldn't imagine going through the pregnancy this far and losing the baby. I'm 14 weeks, but I've heard of people losing their babies at 22 weeks. How hard would that be and why does that usually happen?
