Well I have both, a boy and a girl, so I can say honestly that it really doesn't matter. Once you go through 9 months of feeling the first kicks and after that feeling your baby growing bigger and stronger each month, you form an bond so strong you don't care what the sex is at the end. The only thing that matter is the baby is healthy and has all fingers and toes!

When they put the baby in your arms you aren't thinking "darn, I wish it had been a boy/girl"!

For me, I didn't want to know what the sex was. I feel that's part of the excitement, not knowing until the very end when you have the baby what it is.

at first (being the male macho man that I use to be) I wanted a boy BAD...and coming from a family of 4 boys and 1 girl I thought me chances were good....but when I found out we were have our 1st girl I was honestly a little sad but then I started praying that the baby would be healthy and the delivery turn out ok. But the day I saw my child for the 1st time was the most memorable and beautiful moment of my entire life. I can't explain the love I feel and receive from my little girl....but I thank God that I was able to have beautiful healthy girl. Now I have 2 beautiful girls and I really don't have that "I need a boy" feelings....I think I'll have my hands full as soon as they get older.

I have a 9 year old girl and 20month old boy and im 11 wks pregnant. I honestly just want my baby to be heathly but if I could choose the sex of this one... im kinda torn. I miss my daughter being a little girl but I want my son to have a brother close in age... I'd probably pick a boy because I'd be considering my son not my own wants.

Well I thought I really wanted a girl, but as soon as I found out I was having a boy I was thrilled. I wouldn't change that now. I think it's better left up to nature.
