Rules for life:

1) People are stupid
b) No exception, not me, not you, everybody is stupid
c) No matter how dumb you think people are, they are dumber.

(Also, Naegle the dumb@ss who came up with the rule to determine due dates that most doctors use DECIDED that pregnancy should be 10 lunar -28day - months because women SHOULD menstruate ever 28 days. He didn't actually do any studies or use facts of any kind. The rule was later changed to 283 days. However even 283 days is grossly inaccurate. Some studies have found the average first pregnancy is 290 days. The average second pregnancy is 287. And subsequent pregnancies are about 284. However that is only if doctors don't interfere as they are wont to do.)

It depends on how you count the months. Because technically when most women find out they are pregnant which is usually at 4 weeks they are considered one month pregnant because they have completed 4 weeks of pregnancy (even though the egg has only been fertilized for about 2 weeks). Weeks 20-24 means they have completed 5 months or are "5 months pregnant." Weeks 36-40 means they have completed 9 months or are "9 months pregnant." So that means when they hit 40 weeks that have completed 10 months and if you want to get picky it could be said that they are "10 months pregnant." We aren't talking calender 30-31 days "months" but months in 4 week chunks. Make sense?
