Love and respect for self and others are at the top of my list

Make sure they have enough sensibility towards others and that they make informed decisions, while they weigh the consequences of their actions in their minds. They should try to be the best human being they can possibly be while having fun in life, making sure not to take anything too seriously. It's mostly common sense on their part, but make sure that the sense is imbued into their minds first (AKA teach them).

I am trying to teach my daughter many things, the most importants one i think are:
SELF RESPECT
HOW TO LOVE AND BE LOVED
GIVING RESPECT
AND NO MATTER HOW CRAZY THIS WORLD GETS - TO LET HER KNOW THAT HER FAMILY LOVE HER AND WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR HER NO MATTER WHAT

I know there will be a lot of thumbs down for this answer because it is religious based, but I believe we should teach our children about God's love and how he gave his son to die on the cross for our sins.

I think first of all, children should be thought about God. Then, I think that they need to be taught self-respect, and discipline.

I think it is to make sure they keep their self-control. If they keep control, they can do what's right. If you think before you do anything, then that is a part of self-control, so they must also learn that. My dad always says think before you do something and make sure that it is OK to do.
