I am not sure i think you chances are higher. I am in the same boat. Went into labor with my son at 23 weeks the 1st time with a lot of bed rest tributalin shots and hospital stays i only deliveried at 34wks. I am now pregnant again. But on the 19th i will be starting Alpha hydroxyy progesterone shots. Its a once a week shot that helps prevent pre term labor. Mabey you could talk to your doctor about them. Bad thing is most insurances dont cover them. Thank the lord mine does. Good LUCK.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, with prem babies its more common then not if you have had one preterm the others might be to. You should heave a good chance of getting to 34 weeks at leasted. I can understand how your feeling as Im in the same sort of situation at the moment, I have 2 children with number 3 on the way, my son was full term, but my daughter was 36 weeks. I am now 33 weeks and have been to the doctor yesterday because I am loosing my plug and bub is engaging. I have been told to just rest and do nothing stressful (hard to do with two littlies) but as long as you can make it to 35 weeks you should be fine. The conractions or braxston hick seem to be worst this pregnancy then last time but I was told that is more then likely because I have already had 2 pregnancys before this. So I hope this is the same for you. If your to worried about going early then see your doctor who will proberly tell you to just take it easy to reduce the chances of another preterm. There is always the chance you may go full term or even overdue, I think it goes on your body though, for instance if you can only carry to a certin weight, thats my problem, my son was 6lb 12oz at full term but my daughter was 6lb 5.5oz at 36 weeks. so the differance wasn't alot concidering the weeks. Best of luck and rest up. Just remember that every pregnancy is differant so she may hold on better then the boys. Best of luck and I hope this has helped.

If you've ever had a preterm birth before your chances are way higher so you having 2 tells me its almost guarenteed you wil have another. If your dr hasn't sent you to a specialist tell them to. Also from what I am thinking you should be on bed rest that means don't be out of bed longer than 2 hours. No house cleaning (YAY!) and no lifting the other babies. I know its hard to do but maybe you could have someone come and sit with your kids so that you won't have to do so much.

Your chances are pretty high. If 37 weeks is considered full-term and you are 25 weeks...that's 12 weeks early. If are really concerned about it, then talk to your doctor...they may want to put you on bed rest, or something.

I wouldn't know exactly what your chances are, but I would say probably great. I am hoping that you are going to a neonatalogist often and that you are visiting a doctor who specializes in high risk pregnancies. Some good news though, baby girls fight harder to survive and have less effects of premature birth than baby boys do. Take care of yourself!! Do exactly what the dr. says and good luck!

I had my first toddler at 34 weeks, his lungs were no longer developed and he spent 2 a million/2 weeks contained in the well being facility. he's now 4, and extremely, very energetic. i'm now 37 weeks pregnant and no signal of this toddler coming. Having yet another untimely toddler turned right into a huge difficulty of mine, yet like each of us says each toddler is diverse. carry close in there each ingredient will be ok.
