never ever did, doesn't bother me much, am used to it. just concerned with him getting 'good' sleep. refuse to let him "cry it out" . any suggestions?

my mom went south for the winter and became gravely ill. She is not expected to live out the night....my children (ages 5 and 6) are very close to her....how do i tell them. they know something is wrong but i just couldnt bring myself to tell them about what has happened. And yes there is no hope of her coming out of this....i just dont know what i am going to say to my children when i get the call.....

My daughter is only 5 months old, but how do I stop her from sucking her thumb? She doesn't want to eat because she'd rather suck her thumb and she won't stay sit-up because she's too busy trying to suck her thumb.

I love both of my daughters, but I am concerned for them both. My oldest is married and her husband fights with her sister all the time. My son-in law and my second daughter are both very rude to each other. recently my son in law actually attacked my 2nd daughter and was choking her. Their fighting is causing problems for my oldest daughter, and her new baby. I love them all and dont know what to do. I know that my 2nd child can be rude, but my son in law is rude also. My oldest daughter and grand child are stuck in the middle. My daughter and her husband love each other, and their child, but this whole thing is tearing my family apart. What should I do?

Iam thinking about adopting from the department of social services(dss) can anybody give me ideal in what the procedure details as far as what they look for in a cori and background check. This something I really want to do I been thinking about this for about 3 years and I am ready to go forward with it, I love children and I think theirs a child out their for me to take care of.I always help out neighbors and close friends with their children when they need childcare services. I have three children of my own they are all grown my son (21) #1 daughter (25) with 3 children of her own, they now resides in atlanta just move there a month and half ago, my #2 daughter (23) on her own the only one I have at home is my son. I just want to know is it a hard procedure to go threw, my son has been in trouble before and recently but, never been convicted of anything just had to pay court fines for auto violations, driving without a license(suspended) I don't know if this would get in the way.

My 7 yr old daughter was chased by a boy with a mask on 2 months ago. She is so traumatized that she wont be alone anywhere ,anytime . She follows me everywhere .I talked to her and tried to convince her he wasnt chasing her he was just running. Nothing helps . She talks about it and writes stories about it too . I have a vaporizer that my MIL let me borrow because I have a cold. It is a little bit older and there were no instructions included so I kind of took a guess at what I was supposed to do with the vaporizer steam medication. I know you are supposed to put it in the medicine cup in the vaporizer but when I was putting the cup back into it's place I had spilled some down inside of there. you don't think this will cause a fire do you. I am so scared to go to bed because I don't want that liquid medication for the hot steam vaporizer being down in the part where I am not sure if it is safe to cause a fire. If you need better explanation let me know I will try to be more specific. I am just wanting to know if this could be dangerous???

I'm looking to locate an alternative to boy scouts for my son as I do not agree with the policies and morals of the group. Any suggestions on groups that are actually up and running? I know of Campfire USA in the area and 4-H. I have also researched Spiral Scouts, but have found there is not an active group in our area.

is it possible? he has been drooling alot more than normal and he bites on his hands all the time. also lately hes been really fussy, more than usual. nothing seems to soothe him. i let him suck on a cool teething ring for a bit it seemed to help. but teething at 3 months seems too early. am i nuts?

I do not have insurance, I work part time and a full time college student, I am 21 and married. But neither my husband or I, have insurance because we werent really planning on having a baby so soon. I know there is a lot of federal help out there for prenatal care, what are some options, medicaid, medicare?
