can you get pregnant from a small amount of semen

Of course. A teaspoon of semen has a million sperm in it, and it only takes one. This is why the withdrawl method doesn't work. The little bit that comes out beforehand gets women pregnant every year.

Yes, there are millions of sperm in only a small amount of semen. So, yes, you can get pregnant with just a little bit. This is why some girls do not understand how they got pregnant when the guy pulled out early, because there was already a small amount released.

The amount does not matter. Just a little semen can get a girl pregnant. Sometimes when having unprotected sex people seem to think that if the guy did did not ejaculate inside the girl it will not get her pregnant but it does happen.

There are several factors to getting pregnant. If you have sex during a woman's infertile time, then no, it wont matter how much semen there is, there wont be an egg there to recieve the sperm.

It takes more than 'one sperm' to impregnate an egg, several hundred are needed to wear down the lining around the egg before one can break through the outer shell and deposit its 'head' within. Those many sperm are present in the pre-ejaculate as well.

If you have sex during a woman's fertile time, the man is also fertile, you have a good chance of making a baby. However, in a fully healthy man and woman, there is only a 20-30% chance of getting pregnant every month.

If you are looking to have a baby, you can stack your odds by various means, but if you arent looking to have a child, then protect yourself at all times, everytime.

Take good care and Good Luck :)

Yes. As long as sperm is in that semen you can get pregnant on less than a drop of semen.

lol... I am 4 months pregnant... living proof that the 'pullout' method does NOT work! :) I couldnt believe it happened... weve been using the same method for 5 years! I always though it had to be quite a bit more than the pre-ejaculate, but... apparently not so. so YES, most definately it is possible to get pregnant with only a very tiny bit of sperm. Im sure its best to use birth control pills and/or condoms. I found out the hard way... yet couldnt be happier!!! lol :D

apparently it is posible. Afterall it really only takes one to get through. My cousin's husband was told for many years he wouldn't be able to have children because he has such a low sperm count on a count of being kicked in the testicles by a horse when he was younger, he is now the very proud father of a 2 month old.

yes. Semen is full of sperm and it's the sperm you need to worry about. Every pregnancy starts with one sperm and one egg, and there are millions of sperm swimming in semen.

of course you can, like the others are saying, a million sperm in a drop of semen and all it takes is one to make it through to fertilize the egg...hey.. just like winning the lottery eh?
