Yes children can be adopted from a state agency but there is usually an adoption agency that works with the state as a sort of a clearing house.

They will look for several things. They will do a background check to be sure that you have not been substantiated for any sort of child abuse. Also, if you have a person who lives in your house and has been substantiated for abuse, you will most likely be denied for any type of adoption. They will probably do a home study. They will want to know if you have enough room to have a child in your home.

Try adopt.org for more information. Good luck. You are doing a wonderful thing.

Order your own FBI check . Its about 50.00 or use to be, then apply to foster a kid from your DDS. ( when I was a teen I needed a foster Home, never got one) they took strong boys and the young and cute. I heard tales of foster parents giving excessive amounts of housework to teenagers, they felt used. Teens need Grandma fosters too.
Read up at the library on kids from dysfunctional familys. Trust has been broken and they Will test .you. When you do eventually adopt a kid that will be wonderful, You'll know who it will be, dont rush it. The first thing to do is start loving and that I can see you are already doing (loving) Second, get the house ready,(no color yet) have a great time doing it but Never get attached to him/her liking it. ) hope to hear more, Happy New Year!

in case you do not favor to furnish your toddler up do not! you'll remorseful about it perpetually! come across a fashion to save the toddler. you may't stay with grandma perpetually. they could basically save you in foster care until eventually your 18 anyhow. i'd imagine your mom or dad would take you in and take a verify out helping, yet i do not understand your difficulty there. come across a pastime and get an residing house. you'll get help with daycare with the help of pastime and kin amenities. As for the toddler's father, he must have concept about this kinda element taking position at the same time as he layed down with you. i'm assuming that he replaced right into a prepared participant and that you probably did not rape him or some thing. and that i do not understand why you'll nonetheless be with him considering he thinks like he does about the toddler. Your grandmother kicked you out then called social amenities? What did they tell her about putting you on the streets? that is unlawful in maximum states to kick a baby out into the streets {i do not understand the position you're}. good success and do not enable human beings minipulate you into doing what you do not favor to do. you're the single which has to stay with your self.

I'm not sure that you can adopt through DSS. They try to place their children in foster care until it can be returned to the home. Have you thought about private adoption/adoption agencies instead.
