My pregnant best friend just barely told me tonight that she took it out of desperation, and then spent the rest of the night puking it up. Apparently her body did not like that. Good luck!

When I was pregnant with my first child, I did not find out untill I was 2 months along. I took tylenol pm and nyquil and 2 months of birth control. I was scared to death when I found out I was pregnant. But my little girl was born perfect and she is healthy as a horse, she just turned 7 on Christmas day!

I took Robitussin when I was pregnant. It was the only one the pharmacist said I could take. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I drank while I was pregnant because I didn't know I was pregnant right away and my baby is fine. If you didn't know you were pregnant, don't feel bad about it. Just ask the doctor or pharmacist from now on what you can take. Good luck with your baby!

if you took it and are looking for a justification, you won't get one from me. I have no respect for those who ignore labels. However, if you took it when you didn't know you were pregnant, there is nothing you can do about it, and you will probably be okay. If you haven't taken it and need something for a cold, call your dr. Every dr is different, but mine told me Robitussin was ok (but make sure it is ok with your specific dr in your specific case before taking internet advice, plz!).

<--- took it while pregnant because I didnt KNOW i was pregnant. My doc said its no big deal.. no complications. He told me people take things all the time when they are pregnant and dont know yet.. and that it very rarely causes a problem. However, if you DO know you are pregnant, dont take nyquil!

If it is taken very early on in the pregnancy, like before you know, then it isn't bad as the egg has not implanted yet. Taking it later in pregnancy is not a good idea as it will also affect the baby. Being sick when pregnant is terrible, but not as terrible as having a messed up baby. Be careful...

You dont need to be taking Nyquil while you are pregnant. Read labels to see what you can take. It sucks being pregnant and sick at the same time, all you can take is Tylenol. My doc said it was okay to take Robitussin and Tylenol cold and sinus. You need to check with YOUR doctor. Everyone is different.

No I haven't. I've been pregnant five times and I never took it while pregnant. There's alcohol in it plus all kinds of nasty chemicals. Try taking sudafed or Robitussin cold and cough.

I wouldn't if you haven't already. My Dr. says anything with tylenol in the name such as tylenol cold. THey even have a PM version of tylenol cold that my doc said was safe and works pretty well. Good luck.
