Ever since I got pregnant my breasts have doubled in size(I was always small chested) when one of my friends sees me the first words out of they're mouth is OH MY GOD YOUR BREASTS ARE HUGE. Which makes me really self concious. Is there a nice way to tell them to shut up?

I read this young lady's question and every other friggen answer
was"spank her" or "give them a beating". wtf? I don't feel there is a single reason to spank one's kids anymore. I thought we were a little more modern as a country, but i guess I was wrong. So my question to you all is, do you have children? and if you do, have ever spanked/do you currently spank your kids, and do you feel that this way of parenting is effective.

I have been told by the mother that she is pregnant. I have total faith in believing I am the father. However, we are not married, and have only been seeing each other for 4 months. We have acknowledged that this pregnancy was unexpected and that we had not planned a life together yet. We are still together as boyfriend/girlfriend, but I was starting to question the relationship before the news. She has given me the options to stay and be a 50% parent or leave and never see the child or her again. I can see advantages to both...I have a lot of things planned for my life, but am afraid of the psycological problems I may develop not knowing my child. I am very afraid of what my family and friends will think and the fact that I am not finacially secure right now. The mother insists that she will not ask for money. I am looking for input on what I should do, specifically from fathers and mothers that have been in the same situation.

i've heard various points of view on which is better for babies. i've even heard that humidifiers are a no-no, which as long as it's kept clean, then it's fine.

so, which is it....cool or warm??

my son is 7 months and half.the fontanelle closed at 3 months.the x ray shows that suchers are opened, but doctors do not all agree about that.some see the two at the sides are slightly opened, others see the one at the back started to close.the one at the front has already closed.head size is 43 cm,which is ok for his age,but the shape is unusual, the forhead is quite pointing.the baby's development is very well.doctors say we will have to make an operation to open the skull or so.the question is,,,i don't know which doctor should makae the operation,,nuerosurgeon,or plastic surgeon,or both together with pediatric surgeon??any experience please??and if u can tell me more about it.thanks a lot.

Hey all. I'm 28 years old and am at a total loss as to what kind of maternity clothes to buy and where. I received 2 gift cards for Christmas and am thinking of using them to get some maternity clothes. One of the gift cards is for Walmart and the other is JCPenney. What do you all think of their maternity clothes? I don't really like tight tight clothes. I just want clothes that makes me feel comfortable and casual. By the way, I'm pretty big at this point (7 months) Where did you 20 year olds get your maternity clothes? Thanks.

I have friends who are both white but the guy has a low sperm count. They want to use donor sperm and are considering using the sperm of someone who is black. Because in the UK, people that donate sperm are completely anonymous, you don't see any photos of them so you can't tell if they are really really ugly. So because they feel that black people and mixed race are generally more attractive and healthier than most white Europeans they think their baby will be given better characteristics. They consider themselves not to be racist at all and have friends from many nationalities and they have traveled around the world.

Is it too idealistic or could it work given the right circumstances?

Throwing a birthday/slumber party for my soon to be 12 year old. Most of the girls coming are a year older than her. (They are all in 7th grade). What would be a good party favor for them? Since there are 8 of them - I only want to spend about $5.00 each. Please - don't suggest nail polish - as I don't want it all over my house. Other than that - I'm open!

My husband told me this morning that our newly 16 yo daughter was up until 2a.m. last night on My Space.

He said that every time he walked into her room she minimized.

He's not big on privacy invasion, which doesn't help us.

We share custody of her.

We have her every other weekend.

There is NO support at her Bio-Mom's.

I have some skills and the ability to get into her account.

Should I?

We had unprotected sex the first day of starting my new pills. So, if I conceived on Dec 17 can I take a pregnancy test? Just wondering because if I am pregnant I'd hate to drink at our New Years party!!
I won't miss a period. I'm on the pill that causes you to have one every 3 months instead of every month. So my next period isn't due till March. How will I know, I can't that long...

I've been hearing various people including my sig, and various posters say that if you are smart, attractive and can "afford" to have children, (and are good with children) then it is selfish not to have them. Someone please explain this to me. It really doesn't make sense to me. I thought children were supposed to be some big joy, not something you feel obligated to do. or is it that no one particularly wants to have children, just simply makes the best of them when they arrive?
