Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 December 2006

My cousin is 4 yrs. old. She has this problem, and I don't know how to deal with it. Of course, I know it's not my place to correct it--I just want to know what to do when she does it while I'm taking care of her. Here's her problem, she goes off and pouts alot. For example on Christmas Eve we were at my grandparent's. My other little cousin had something she wanted and when she asked if she could play with it my other cousin said no. So, she went off and started pouting. Sometimes though she'll just stand there and put on a fake cry--although it looks real (tears and everything). Other times she'll go off and sit in the corner or up against the wall and "boo hoo" and cry.

What do I do when she does this when I'm watching her? I was standing there when she pulled this at my grandparent's this weekend and I went over and told her to stop crying and that she needed to go ask my cousin nicer for the toy. It didn't help. What to do?

to start with maternity leave ???I work as a receptionist so my work is not to hard and do walk around the warehouse every hour or so for 10 - 15 min. so I do Okay during the day .... My due date is February 17 , 2007 . I was planning on leaving around January 19 or 26 .. that way I can have only few weeks to rest and prepare what i will be needing and do last shopping for the baby !!! Is it tolate or do I have to plan maternity leave befoe this dates... This is the first time I'm working while pregnant .. What do you suggest ??? Any advices!!!!

I have to go back to work in a weeks time. Can anyone assist me in a step for step guide (like a starting solids for dummies) to start my 4 month old baby boy on solids e.g. how much purity / cereal replaces how much formula ? Any tips on getting him to sleep staight through will be welcome.

Im 19 years old and my boyfriend and I of 4 years had sex on Dec. 22nd (without a condom but not for very long because then he said he would go get a condom so he did) and afterwards, he told me that he might of came in me a little bit before he put the condom on but he wasn't sure...so this got me a little worried...I was supposed to get my period around the end of this month (its now Dec.27th)... But I've been having cramps as if Im about to get my period, but it's still not here.

Do you think I'm pregnant? I know it's my fault if I am =(

Being pregnant I have this horrible aftertaste everytime I eat. I usually use a little scope to help out. Well today when I went to use some I started gagging (having morning sickness still) and threw up a little. I saw a bunch of scope come out but I think I swallowed some too. Do you think it would hurt me? It probably wasn't about a teaspoon at the most.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have a lot of milky discharge.It doesn't smell and is normal to me (I have been pregnant before)
But my problem is, I have too much! Sorry if TMI But when I cough or sneeze it squirts out, I have to wipe throughout the day....Is it normal to have so much?

I'm seeing a guy, we're very close. He has two kids to two different women but they're living with their mother's in the states. This guy has never told me he loves me, but he told me the other night that he wants me to have his baby. Which I was shocked to hear, but pleasantly surprised. (Hes not the only man to ask me this). He wants a kid in the next two yrs, but I wanna wait until I finish my studies which will mean he's gonna be 43. I'm curious if he's just using me to have a baby wit him cuz he getting on or if he loves me and really wants ME to be the mother of his kid. PLEASE HELP.......thanks in advance. xx

I broke up with my b/f of two and a half years the day after christmas. I am now dating his friend. We both made it kind of mutual when we broke up. Now when he sees me even talking to his friend he looks sad. Was I too harsh?? Will he lose his best friend over this or eventually come to accept it??

My house got broken into and all my kids gifts got stolen....so on saturday i was out shopping trying to replace whatever i could...i went to the grocery store first with my american express gift card i got as a bonus from work and i had about $20 worth of groceries and a pack of diapers. well apparently this particular store doenst take AMEX so i was telling the cashier to just cancel it out because that was all i had when the lady behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said she would get it. i started crying in the grocery store! i was able to go back to the toy store and get my daughter the baby doll she wanted because of this lady's generosity.
i didnt get her name but i wanted to tell people about her because she saved my kids christmas.

in Santa??? If not how did they find out???

My daugther is 6 and she still believes in Santa and she didn't want to fell asleep on Christamas she wanted to see Santa.. she eve sleep in the couch and place some cookies and milk for Santa in the center table ... I personally thing it is cute when they still have a fantasy or still have a believe I hope she continues like this !!!!!

In such cases, should we make the punishment lighter, or even cut it off? I think so, because if your kids show he/she learned his/her lesson there's no reason to keep with a punishmentt

I have a three-year-old daughter Jade Xiola. I am planning on having another child in the near future and my husband and I are trying to pick out names. His name is Jason so we were thinking about using that for a name at some point. I love the name Jeremy (he isn't too thrilled with it) and Jessibelle for a girl. I didn't really do it on purpose to plan all our children's names to begin with J but I like all those J-names. Is it too much to have a Jade, Jason, Jeremy and Jessibelle?
His cousins are named Perry, Paition, Presely and Paige so I don't know if it would look like we are copying they're naming style.

Okay heres the scoop...I started my last period Dec. 1rst. I waited four days and than began taking clomid on Dec 5th. I took that for five days. my intercourse days were the 10th,12th,14th,16th & 18th. I went in for a progestrone level test on the 22. they called back on the 26th and said that i ovulated. they told me to wait 2-3 weeks before takin a test, but i calculated on a web site that if i was pregnant, then it said i was indeed far enough to test. I dont even know if i have missed a period because they are irregular.....help i dont wanna test to early and get a negative, b/c i will stress out!!! help??????

My son who is now 3 has had seizures since he was born along with a 50% hearing loss (which has been taken care of). The seizures are now under control but he isn't advancing like he should be (we thought that was the problem with his learning). I noticed that he has fits that he can't seem to stop and he doesn't talk well and he gets very upset if his things are messed up (toys must be in a straight line) he counts everything, he plays quietly even during a party, doesn't interact with others, repeats movements and any change in routine upsets him. I have taken him in and had testing done he has seen doctors and psychologists and been observed and i want to know what I can do to help him. I have put him in daycare one day a week to play with other children (it was suggested to me). People see him and think he is younger than he is because of how he acts and when they find out he is 3 they look suprised. What can I do to help him?
