I had one at 5 weeks. I woke up that morning and realized I was bleeding and rushed to the hospital. They told me that they thought I was losing the baby and I went home. I really didn't have any really bad cramps, they just felt like they did when I was on my period. Then later that night I passed some tissue. It was very upsetting, but not really painful.

A very heavy period, more painful than usual, with a lot of large clots. It lasted quite a bit longer than a usual period as well.
I didnt get a D&C and for a few cycles after I was passing a lot of blackened blood, and then got a really bad yeast infection, and an irregular cycle for about 3-4 months.

At 8 weeks it started with brown spotting and then bleeding with tiny and stringy clots. Eventually I had to get a D&C because of having a missed miscarriage (it wasn't miscarrying completely on its own).
The entire pregnancy I had constant dull cramps and sharp lower back pains.

i actually started getting cramps two days before i started lightly bleeding, so i went to the hospital and they looked and said that there was a large amount of blood in there and it looked like i was going to miscarry, so they did another HCG check and the number had gone down (which confirmed that i was going to miscarry) so they sent me home and later that night i started to bleed heavier and was losing blood clots and what looked like a lot of tissue. i bled for like a week and had very bad cramps the whole time, the hospital gave me stronger ibuprofen to help with that. that was my experience, its scary and very hard physically and emotionally, good luck to you and i am sorry for your loss if this is what is happening to you.
oh and unfortunately i was 6 weeks. good luck! i hope everything works out for you.

I misscarried twice, both times at 10 weeks. I had moderate to heavy bleeding and cramping both times. The cramping felt kinda like menstral cramps, but were more like contractions because they would come and go pretty consistently. I went to ER to confirm miscarraige. If you think you're having a miscarraige, call your Dr. immediately, don't wait. If you are just threatening and not actually having one, they might be able to stop it.

Very early miscarriages are hardly noticed because you may think it's your regular period, but sometimes if that period seems to be too heavy and with clots, it might have been a very early miscarriage.
