i know that it is possible to get pregnant but how likely is it to happen.

none. if you are on your period it is almost impossible to become pregnant... your body is flushing the nice environment for the baby to implant itself in... it is more than likely you wont be pregnant.

I once thought that you couldnt get pregnant while on your period, so, like a dumbass, I didnt use a condom. Needless to say, I was stunned when suddenly my period came to a screeching halt when it should've been at its heaviest. I figured that it was all fine though, and went about my business. The next month I had to take a test when it didnt show up at all. Just because its not something that happens on a regular basis, doesnt mean that it cant happen at all.

Very little. Unprotected sex during your period (Though slightly unclean and unsafe) is a good way to have it and not get pregnant. The egg is either absent or hasn't planted yet.

I have been told by several doctors, and plenty of magazine articles, that it is very difficult to get pregnant during your period. Your body is trying to clense itself at this stage, not allowing sperm to travel far enough to cause pregnancy.

It's very unlikley to happen as you dont ovulate during your period so there's no egg to fertilize

Possibly, but consider that you don't get pregnant from sex, you get pregnant from stupid.
