Throwing a birthday/slumber party for my soon to be 12 year old. Most of the girls coming are a year older than her. (They are all in 7th grade). What would be a good party favor for them? Since there are 8 of them - I only want to spend about $5.00 each. Please - don't suggest nail polish - as I don't want it all over my house. Other than that - I'm open!

Go to the dollar store and and get 8 small gift bags. On the make-up aisle at Walmart they have a brand called "Bon Bons". Really cheap cute little make up things for preteens. They are about $1 each and you can get lip glosses and things like that. Fill the bags up with those and that sounds like a great party favor :-)

I am 12, and when I turned 12 I had a slumber party too. We found cool, cheap, scarves, big sunglasses, and bubble gum cigarettes. It was really funny because we all walked around looking like Jackie O. There were only about 5 of us though, so you might want to cut down a bit...Also, it depends on the time of year...If her birthday is in winter you might want to just get them bubble gum cigs and scarves? One year my mom gave each of my friends a certain amount of money to go spend at Claires. You could give them each 5$ and stop by some store like that. Just a suggestion...

I'm 13 (Maybe I might help?). Is there a Target near you? If so, try their dollar section. Cool, affordable things -- only one $! Buy a big bag of candy, and divide that into 8 parts. Include cute stationary/pens.. and maybe little trinkets of jewelry? Shop around your town -- maybe you'll find some awesome things for only $5 or less, and serve that as your goody bag! Try to fit the personality of the girl as much as possible. Hope she has a happy birthday!

Hmm... teenage girls...

You could do body wash and a bath pouf or a nice scented body lotion.

Or have your daughter pick out a pair of earrings (from like Claires at the mall) or something for each of them.

Something girly... Best of luck!

Disposable cameras. They'll have a ball taking silly pictures of the night.

I would suggest having a pool party, and having pool/beach party favors. That would be soooo fun!

Let's see.....lip gloss would be a good one. Also, candy, note pads, fuzzy pens, cheap picture frames, etc.
